The transmission works normally. The 4 wheel drive 2 wheel drive selector works normally, the brakes are responsive, the parking brake does work but could be a little tighter. 1989 John Deere 710c Turbo 4x4. Enclosed cab, extendahoe. This is thelargest model tractor backhoe(115 hp) that John Deere makes, weighs 26,000lbs. Has 1.5 yard front bucket. Backbucket is 2' wide– teeth will need replaced. Just rebuilt front dump cylinder. There are a few minor leaks in a couple of hydraulic cylinders as to be expected for the age of the machine. I have a very nice. Well kept, Cat 416B backhoe. It is 4 wheel drive with a 4 speed tranny, diesel with turbo. I have owned it for several years and have all the manuals, extra filters, parts and misc items. This backhoe is ready to work with out any leaks or problems. There are no cracks or repair welds. All the glass is there and I have a spare rear and front tire NEW. Front bucket has a new cutting edge and the bottom has been hard faced. It does have a radio and comes with a set of head phones. JCB 214 Series II Backhoe Loader I bought this machine in 2002 with just over 3000 hrs on it(now has a little over 4100 hrs) and I have been the only operator since. It has an EROPS fully enclosed cab with heat and all of the glass is intact. It's 4x4 with a 2ft bucket attached. It had a bad torque converter when I purchased it back in 2002 and I had the transmission removed and completely rebuilt. It has not given me a bit of trouble since. I maintain all of my equipment myself and I keep everything 100% Operator/service manual included. Every bell. Buzzer and light works exactly as it should. There are no leaks anywhere and it was completely serviced at 4000 hrs. All fluids and filters changed, radiator flushed and new battery and belts installed. Tires have like new tread but they are weather checked here and there- all hold air. This ... moremachine runs perfectly and is incredibly strong. When I did have the use for it, I put less than 100 hrs a year on it. 1994 JCB 217 4x4 turbo backhoe
Very heavy duty machine that worked fine until recently. Got water in the lower crankcase- likely through the intake filter during a heavy rain storm. Didn't figure it out until it went to start it and it was seized up. Water is clear- not milky or antifreeze. Perkins diesel engine lower end will need rebuild- upper end is likely fine as the dipstick still shows clean oil. No longer need the machine and it is out of my league to do it myself. CAT 416C Backhoe loader in GREAT condition being offered at NO RESERVE! Privately owned machine- NOT a rental or a construction tractor. Located at my place in Southern AZ(about an hour SE of Tucson) and has been a ranch tractor. So it hasn't had heavy use, no broken welds/weld repairs, etc- this machine has had a very easy life compared to what most of them have to do for a living. Enclosed cab, glass is all in great shape except the windshield has cracks in it that go all the way across, has heat and vent, AM/FM/CD stereo that has a cracked face, but works great. It's four wheel drive and has a shuttle-shift transmission, VERY easy to operate. It is a VERY reliable machine, starts/runs/operates as it should. Tires are in great shape, as are the hoses(I have noticed only one small leak on the front right ram upper hose, it will drip ... moreif it's under load- but nothing major. I park it in the same place most of the time, no oils spots. I usually store it under an awning at my shop, so it's not in the weather and only sees the early morning sun, the previous owner stored it in a barn for a good part of its life as well. The paint on the hood is peeling all over, but the rest of the tractor looks pretty good- for a machine that spends most of its life playing in the dirt. As far as I know, all of the gauges work as they should, hour meter works fine as well and appears to be accurate. I'm not sure what lights work and which ones don't- I rarely use it at night, but I know that most do- I can check them if it's important to you. I love everything about this backhoe, but I have my ranch up for sale, and I'm finished with my"pond project" now, so this guy needs a new home. The Yanmar Turbo engine starts instantly with little smoke and no obvious noises or problems. The engine and torque converter are very responsive. There is very little if any blow by. The engine is not leaking oil or antifreeze. The transmission works normally. The 4 wheel drive selector works normally, the brakes are responsive, the parking brake does work. The sheet metal is straight the original paint is good. The paint is peeling off of the rear fenders from excessive washing. The fenders are not rusty. There is a little roughness in the front grill. The heat works. The gauges and hour meter and tachometer are all working. The cab glass is intact. This style cab has 2 entry doors. There is no rust.
