You are looking at a John Deere 310C loader backhoe. This is a good running backhoe. The motor is strong and starts easy. The pins and bushings are in good shape as well. The rear tires are almost new. It has a shuttle shift transmission that works well. I have been using this machine. The only things I see wrong is the left rear brake is weaker than the right. And one of the backhoe swing cylinders is leaking some. This backhoe is ready to go to work right now. Its gonna make someone a nice backhoe. Only reason Im selling is to get a excavator. Selling this for a Friend. He has had it a very Long time and has maintained it well. Everything Works well. The Unit is in very Nice shape for the year. It still wears its original Paint and Looks good. Could use a wash though and it would look great. It is about a 1987. The Tires may be Original. They have plenty of tread but have cracks. The Seat is in very Nice shape and all controls in very nice shape. This machine can still do a lot of work for someone. I airbrushed the Logos on the pictures but the paint is fine and the personal logo he has on the machine on the fron can come off no problem. THe Factory Welds are beautiful and there is no Rust on this machine. It was used residentially for the last 15years on his property Hour meter replaced at one time. All controls work fast& tight& will dig the hardest clay here on my farm. Will pick up& carry around 4.000 pounds in or on the front bucket. All 4 ground speeds work as it should& reverse as well. All service I did at the beginning of the year along with the hydro trans filter. This has never over heated& does not smoke that much. Wear plate on front bucket is not new but in good shape& teeth on 24" rear bucket are also in good shape. Fuel gauge works along with rpm& hour meter. All pins are good& just had steering cylinder rebuilt a month ago. Now the concerns are not bad but just to let you know. ========================================================== Front bucket has some rust. Elk Forest Farms. Inc. is pleased to offer a used John Deere 310C 2WD tractor loader backhoe up for sale. I am unsure of the exact year. I am guessing the machine is from the mid 1980's. The S/N is listed above. The machine is powered by a 4-cylinder John Deere diesel engine. The engine starts very easy and runs out strong with no smoking. The transmission works great in all gears. The brakes works great. The machine has 2-stick digging controls. The engine was just serviced. The machine has a rebuilt starter. The front axle king pins were just done by the previous owner. The tires are approx. 50% I don't see any tires leaks. I don't see any major leaking on the machine. The previous owner on this machine go rid of it because he upgraded himself to a newer 4wd full cab machine. Please view the Youtube video link below.
