Beautiful the best ribs in the West wild Western barbecued ribs plate. Made by royal China company in 1993. The plate features an eagle at the top. A cowboy on a horse at the bottom and directions on how to make a barbecue recipes sauce and barbecue cooking instructions for the ribs. The only thing wrong with this plate you can see in the picture is a few little marks I believe from the manufacturer about the size of a pinhead you can feel it with your fingernail see photo. Everything else on this place is in very good condition I don't see any utensil marks or anything I think it was used for a wall decoration. Measuring 8-1/2" x 4-3/4" x 1/4" thick. This wooden sign is humorous- reads HANGOVER BREAKFAST- and lists the suggestions: Tomato Juice, Raw Eggs, Black Coffee, Aspirin, and OUR SYMPATHY. Fellow with the hangover is leaning on street light. It has two drilled holes near top for hanging, plus a center smaller pin hole at the very top. A few scratches, but overall attractive condition. I expect this is from the 1950s. On back is a small paper sticker indicating it was made in Japan. The white spot that appears on the auction photo is a result of glare from my camera. Not on the plaque.
