I know that it's old, I'm not sure when or when it came from, but judging by the price I would say it's fairly old. The sign, not including the frame measures about 21 3/4" wide by 14" tall. The frame is thin chrome. Or shiny metal at least, covering wood, with a glass. The signboard is stamped, or watermarked CRESCENT QUALITY BOARDS on the back. The frame has a lot of little flaws. And though it adds to the look, the sign itself is the main item. Cheap roadside food. Hand-painted menu signs, and the little cafes that housed them are pretty much a thing of the past, and most items like this were discarded as inflation made the prices rise and the sign obsolete, but a few have made it, but most not as clean and bright as this one! Seems to be constructed of wood with black plexiglass, which has lines for writing on. There are two oval rings(seem to be heavy dut) attached to the back for secure hanging. You can use it as it is or repaint it. Great for an ice cream or beverage shop. Maybe even a coffee shop to advertise shakes or different kinds of beverages. Pair Fine Porcelain Menu Boards, Antique/Vintage Angels
This is a pair of vintage porcerlain menu boards in the form of little angels. They have a baker's cap. A quiver, wings, an apron and nice buns. Each is 6 inches high and 4 inches wide. The decoration on each piece is entirely hand-painted. The condition of one is excellent, with no chips, cracks or crazing. The other has an early crack in the right forearm. This is stabilized because the arm is anchored on both sides. There are no other problems with the second piece. Neither piece is signed. We think they may be French. The age is also a mystery, but we believe they are at least from the mid-20th century, possibly earlier.

RARE & VINTAGE Metal menu bulletin directory information sign holder display box
This is a fantastic find a Bitburger Pils Bar/Resturant Menu Metal Shadow Box. This would be great in a German themed restaurant or bar. I have taken several photos to show condition and details if you have any questions please ask. The front is not glass but plastic it is not scratched on the front see photo but it can be replaced easily you can even replace the plastic with glass if you want. There are no keys it needs miniature tubular cam lock that is missing.It has a 35 watt florescent bulb I guarantee that the bulb burns. One other thing about the box I have taken several photos of the plug. This appears to be the original plug and original bulb however it does have a cord with a small cut in the insulation it should be an easy fix for someone that knows what they are doing.
