Wavetek 178 programmable waveform synthesizer. Produces sine and square waves from 1uHz to 50MHz, triangles to 500KHz and ramp up to 20KHz. The oscilloscope in the photos is used to show you the generator's output; it is not included in this auction. I purchased this function generator from eBay 3 years ago for a project and no longer need it now. It passes boot-up self-test and produces waveforms(sine. Square, triangular, ramp, and frequency sweeps) as shown in photos. I have not used the GPIB port and have not used or tested all functions. The only problem I know of is the"2" on the numeric keypad that does not register all the time when you press it. This problem could be bypassed by using the cursor key to increase or decrease the numbers instead. There are no dents on the metal case although some paints are scrapped off ... morethe side panels.
