Up for auction. A used HP Function Generator. I've tested this thoroughly and found the following: All functions work from 0.1Hz to 450MHz. The picture shows an example. A very clean 22KHz sawtooth shape. The function settings are 2.2 x(10K button) triangle waveform, no modulation. Above ~450KHz the signal timing becomes unstable and eventually cuts out. I suspect a dried out capacitor in the VCO circuit. But don't have the time to debug it.

This is a like new BK Model 4011A 5 MHz Function Generator. I've had this for a while but it has seen very little use and is in a true"like new" condition. Primarily I used it as an instructional tool along with an oscilloscope to teach about electrical signals and how to read a'scope. If you're looking at this I assume you know what you're looking at so there isn't much point in me rambling on at length about features you already know. The pictures should show everything with the labels on various controls. It comes with the AC cord which didn't make the picture. The single BNC cable with the alligator clips as shown. Hello. Up for Bidding is my Personal Wavetek Model 21 Function/ Signal Generator in Working Condition as shown in the Photo's that I took today. This unit is rated to go up to 11 Mhz. And in one of the many pictures that I took. You can see it operating at 10 Mhz on my Tektronix 465B Oscilloscope. I have used this Signal Generator to help me Calibrate and to test out some other scopes that I have in for Troubleshooting. And/or Repair. There are some other photos showing you the sine. Square and triangle wave forms as displayed on my Scope. This unit also comes with a Printed copy of the operating manual. There are No Schematics in the Manual. But there are a lot of Hook-Up Diagrams to help explain the operation of this unit and how it works. Notice from the pictures how nice and clean this unit is.
