I have had this instrument for a number of years in a non-smoking environment and it works great. Opt 001 is installed which adds very versatile Burst and Sweep modes. As you can see in the pictures. The trim piece on the top of the case near the front panel is missing and there is some sticker residue near the missing trim piece. Overall the case is in very good condition with no dents and some very minor scratches. The tilt stands are fully functional. The operating, programming, and service manual is available as a PDF from the Agilent website. The oscilloscope and cable shown in the pictures are not included.

Powers up but I have no way of testing the functionality of it. This unit is from the bay area in California and was used privately by a guy that worked at Lockheed Martin. He helped build guided missiles there but he has since passed away. It has the bottom feet clips but no stand up metal attachments also the front panel center BNC input is loose. I attempted opening to tighten but couldn't figure it out how to open, I leave this to you! Ya I did the screws under a cover panel but still nothing.

This function generator works very well. Photos are shown for 10kHz and 1MHz sine and square wave outputs. Note that the peak amplitude of all four signals are almost identical. No change to the amplitude was made for these tests. The triangular wave outputs amplitudes were almost as good but I did not take pictures of those waveforms. The frequency control was adjusted somewhat when changing push button settings between 10kHz and 1MHz. This is normal with the 3312A Oscillator. The SYM. AMPLITUDE, and OFFSET controls all work normally except as noted in the CONDITION DESCRIPTION above. The MOD controls all appear to work normally. The above tests were not performed to verify that the unit meets published specifications, but only to indicate that the unit is operational.
