Here's a HUGE dry ice blast unit that would make a GREAT starter unit for anyone who wants to get into dry ice blasting. This is a Coldjet D-RC00100M which is similar to the RDS-100D. Unlike others on ebay. THIS UNIT IS TESTED AND WORKS! Very very low hours on the meter and yes, we have used it ourselves in the past 30 days, blasts dry ice pellets like a champ! We purchased it to clean some food processing equipment but it is wayyyyyyy too much machine for our needs. If you want a kick-butt dry ice blasting machine. This might be just the solution. Hopper holds a LOT of dry ice pellets, I'd GUESS about 85lbs or so, has hopper-knockers an auger and break-up bars in the hopper to keep pellets moving nicely. You can use a huge tow-behind 185psi diesel air compressor to power it and do all sorts of things. We did some restaurant equipment, ... moremercedes wheels and even a Harley motorcycle with it, worked great! You can clean all sorts of things with this from stainless steel to outdoor statuary, graffiti removal, conveyor belts and production machinery, we've even seen dry ice blasting used for cleaning engine compartments since the only residue is CO2. Also used in mold remediation and other cleaning of things like tiles, granite, marble, fire damage and much much more since there is NO SAND BLASTING OR GLASS BEAD MESS! You fire dry ice pellets which is CO2, upon hitting solid object it sublimates directly to it's gaseous form, the shock effect removes surface contaminants without damaging the surface underneath. So cool. Unlike the others on ebay for much more. We're INCLUDING the hoses and applicator gun and a couple tips with the unit. To operate you just need your compressor(around here 185psi compressors are easy to rent) compressed air hose with standard fast-clamps(typically provided with rental compressors) and dry ice pellets available from most major CO2 suppliers.
