The owner is selling this item because he does not have 3 phase service at his facility. Hour meter shows 0438667(last 2 numbers are red) Note on door shows hour meter changed 5-24-2007 SH 9725. Item was in service from 1998 to 2011. The"Selector Switch"Normal/Unload" is missing and I believe wires are currently wire-nutted together. It is also missing one of the three motor drive belts. For sale is a Kaeser AS31 25HP Rotary Screw Air Compressor. It is in good condition and has been serviced regularly by Kaeser since new. Only 20283 hours and many of them unloaded. It was last serviced at about 18000 hours with the oil. Oil filter, air filter, and separator changed. I have genuine Kaeser oil, air, and separator filters I will include with the compressor. It is currently wired for 460V 3 phase, but can be switched to 230V 3 phase easily. The compressor can produce 120 CFM at 100 psi. This was taken out of operation due to a tank air leak and the head was removed and inspected. The reed valves were removed and cleaned. Piston and cylinder showed no signs of wear. Pump was tested electrically. This pump by well known Kaeser Kompressor. It is manufactured in Germany and is a high quality pump. It is fairly quiet and not objectionable when running. This close coupled pump is driven by a 3 phase(230-460 volt) motor and does not operate on 230 volt single phase power. Compressor was used/wired in sequence with another compressor. It has the instruction manual for the sequencer which shows installation wiring. In order to be used as a stand alone compressor, you will have to rewire it to eliminate the sequencer. You can have Kaeser do this or your compressor tech. For sale is a Kaeser ASD 40 S 40HP Direct Drive Rotary Screw Air Compressor. With Kaeser's one-to-one drive. The airend is directly connected to the motor via a maintenance-free coupling that eliminates transmission losses. Kaeser’s direct drive screw compressors deliver outstanding performance and increase energy savings. Kaeser uses oversized airends specifically selected to produce the required output in flow and pressure. Compared to compressors using small, high-speed, gear-driven airends, the one-to-one drive provides significant savings. This is a great machine that has been well-maintained since new. It is clean overall and it runs very cool. It is also very quiet. It should have many years of trouble-free life left in it! It had a new Sigma controller installed in January of 2012. The hours are currently showing 3073 run hours ... moreand 743 load hours. The compressor ran about 2000 hours a year. With about a quarter of those hours under load. So the hours on the compressor before the new Sigma display was installed were somewhere around 20,000 run hours and 5,000 load hours or so, next to nothing on a machine designed to go 100,000 hours before the airend bearings need to be serviced. Wired for 208-230 volts. Unit was pulled from a shop that recently downsized. In good working condition and ready to be put back into service. Unit has just been serviced with oil and filters by certified Ingersoll technician and always maintained regularly. Can be seen under power in Valencia, CA 91355.
