Up for auction is an Emglo dual tank. Commercial grade. Air compressor. Made in the USA in Johnstown PA. The reputation for these machines for the quality and reliability is unmatched. I could not find a model number. But my guess is that it's about 20 years old. I acquired this machine and some other equipment in trade for my work; as a favor, to help out an ailing friend, and have no use for it myself. He was a building contractor and used it seasonally(to power several nail guns at once) It has been stored in his shop and has had only occasional use over the last 10 years. The motor is: Century Electric 1.5 hp 115 volt and can be adapted to 220 volt. It's not what you would call"pretty" but runs quietly and*continuously maintaining 120-125 psi. This is a model S500TH-U. I just replaced both crankshaft bearings. Changed the oil and replaced the V-belt on this compressor. The piston and cylinder bore looked good. It has a 30-40 psi pressure switch and it shuts off at about 44 pounds. The motor is a Century-A.O. Smith. The HP = SP. It will operate on either 115 or 230 volts 1 phase. Full load amperes are 15/7.5. The C-Air web site says the HP is 1.5 but 1.5 HP motors usually are rated at 20 amps. The unit was manufactured 12-15-09. It came out of a hospital. Ingersoll Rand dual electric air compressors one tank- industrial
Selling an old model dual compressor set up. Item is working. However it is currently removed from it's power source. For serious buyers, we will get the electrician on-site to hook it up and run a demonstration. Along with the tank on its underside(looks to be about 250g) this dual compressor was hooked up to 2 other tanks- one 1000 gallons(guessing) the other was probably around 500. Those tanks were scrapped and are not available. We have no need for the compressor and removed it to continue construction. I do not know much about this model, but feel free to ask questions. I am hoping Ingersoll Rand will respond to my manual search. I will do my best to find the answers.
