I bought this new. It was used it for 6 months(300 hours) It is rated for 10.000 hours. It was serviced by Ingersoll Rand and runs perfect. We replaced with a larger screw compressor due to growth. It is as close to new as you will ever find. It has a 2 Stage compressor and a 7.5 hp motor which produces 24.5 CFM. It also has a copper cooler which helps lengthen the compressors life and minimized water in the lines and tank. It is wired for 3 phase 230 but we ran it on 208 voltage. You are bidding on a 1996 Ingersoll Rand 30 HP. 109 CFM electric air compressor with operating pressure of 125 psi. The compressor came from the sale of a machine shop and will run on 230 volt 3 phase or 460volt 3 phase. It was set for 460 volt when we bought it and we have not changed anything. In order to test it I dropped it off at a local welder repair shop that had 460 volt power. They said that they hooked it up and it ran fine and made pressure. He said that some oil came from the open drain valve on the bottom of the tank so they did not run it very long. I suspect that it was just material that had accumulated in the tank but I don't know for sure. He did say that it ran well and was making air. We had plans to use it in our facility but we changed our business model and now we don't use that much air. It has the normal quite a few scuffs and scratches from normal industrial use. There are a couple of belts sitting on the unit. But I have not tried them actually on the compressor. See photos below for more details on physical condition. We wired up the motor to try it out. And it did not work. The compressor does turn over by hand. But we have not tried it beyond that. It has a 30-40 psi pressure switch and it shuts off at about 44 pounds. The motor is a Century-A.O. Smith. The HP = SP. It will operate on either 115 or 230 volts 1 phase. Full load amperes are 15/7.5. The C-Air web site says the HP is 1.5 but 1.5 HP motors usually are rated at 20 amps. The unit was manufactured 12-15-09. It came out of a hospital. I have a 30 gallin air compressor I was restoring.do to financial situations I have to sell now.it has a newly repainted tank.A new ELECTRIC START 7 HP MOTOR. A 14CFM PUMP AND BRAND NEW 150 PSI UNLOADER VALVE.UNIT JUST NEED BELT AND SLIGHT MODS TO WORK MAYBE 2 HOUR OF WORK.DO TO WHAT THESE THINGS COST THIS IS A AWESOME DEAL.unit looks great.i have a lot of extra I will be throwing in.a extra new starter extra new carb 3 unloader valves, fittings, and gauges.if you are familiar with compressors you should be able to make it work.motor will fire up 2 pulls or turn key.ready for completion.i will haul and ship ups freight but freight aint cheap.
