This great machine would not be for sale had our needs ... morenot changed recently. We added a sand blaster to our tool repertoire and it needs a more robust compressor capable of a constant 15 cfm. So we had to replace our easy to live with Silentaire with a noisy 5hp twin you don't even want to be in the same room with! On the flip side you can hold a normal conversation while standing right next to this Silentaire unit when it's running. And with only 1/2 hp X 4 screw drive compressors it won't make your meter spin either! It has its limitations. 15 minutes on/ 15 minutes off. But if you are a serious hobbyist. Or have a home machine shop, these things are perfect. The neighbors won't even know you have a compressor at your place! Note that this Silentaire has 4 cooling fans that can either cycle on and off with the compressors. Or under normal usage, be switched off to conserve even more power. Questions? For sale: Silentaire Sil-Air150/50(110v/60Hz) air compressor. These compressors are for the hobbyist or professional that wants a truly quiet compressor. Compressor is 13 to 15 years old. I just changed oil. Filters and seals. All items purchased from Silentaire. I can provide invoice to buyer. Compressor runs great. Model tag(pictured) identifies this as a 220V model, but compressor was changed to 110V early on. The 150/50 has a 13 gallon tank that fully pressurizes in 150 seconds, 24 seconds faster that new specs. This compressor does not have the optional wheels or handle. Please review pictures as they are part of the description. Buyer may test out compressor when they come to pick it up; if not fully satisfied purchase price will be refunded in full.
