Thomas Industries Air Compressor. Diaphragm. Model 600-8. 115 Volt. 3 amp Motor. Oil Less. Unit has a 9 ft hose but only on end has a connector which screws onto the Compressor head. The other end has no fitting and will need to have a connector attached or another hose used. See photos. Very clean unit and runs perfectly. Runs a steady pressure of 35 PSI. To figure the volume I hooked it up to a 5 gallon Remote tank. Unit pumps the 5 gallon tank up to 20 PSI in 55 seconds and up to 30 PSI in 1 Min and 52 seconds. Very impressive for what I call a desktop compressor. Very quiet and smooth running unit with no issues. Very minor paint chipping in a couple of spots. Unit is very clean inside and out. A couple of the photos shows the condition of the internal wiring. See photos. This is an Oil less unit and would work perfect for Air Brushing ... moreand as a desk top compressor. Very little heat and no oil contaminates in the air produced. From the units over all condition it does not appear to have had much use. Air Pump Compressor Medical Easy Comp 50 psi Thermal Protected Air Brush
There are a couple scratches and scuff marks on the casing. But it is otherwise undamaged. For more information on the cosmetic condition please refer to the pictures below. I plugged the pump in and flipped the switch. The motor sounded good and we could feel the hose connector blowing out. I then put my finger over the port and the PSI went up on the meter. When I turned the knob. The PSI went up and down. By just putting our finger over it, This is all the testing that has been done. Let me know if you have any questions. VTG Hudson air paint brush compressor
Awesome old Hudson Air Brush compressor which WORKS. Runs off of 110/115V and makes all sorts of noise. Not bad noise-this little compressor is just noisy. It pumps air like I believe it should-but comes with no warranty. Cord is original and is in OK shape. I'd not recommend this item be put into regular service without a thorough checking over. Switch works fine and is a timer switch/dial assembly. Pumps air. Comes as you see in the pictures. I plugged it in and it works. Small grease cap for bearing lubrication and air intake filter is in place and fairly tidy. Please see pics and ask all questions prior to bidding. Very neat vintage piece for the air-artist. Thanks. Description I will be selling a few Jun-Air compressors used in our tanning salons. The new sunless tanning booths use pumps instead of air so we will be removing these as we upgrade our booths. These are all in very good condition. This one in particular is Excellent and has been cleaned inside and out, missing one dial cover on optional water separater, pumps up to 116 psi in 50 seconds, no leaks and is a clean machine. This unit is as quiet as a refrigerator and runs perfect. These cost us 1100 dollars new, listing is a fraction of that.
