It is a great piston-style compressor and vacuum pump and I used in my house during my vacuum bagging projects. There are only a few cosmetic scratches and a crack around the edge of the plastic grill. But it is not noticeable. It is very clean and working perfectly. This auction is for a Curtis Brand Air Compressor/vacuum pump manufactured in the early 1920's. This unit was removed from service during a remodel and was in working condition. This unit was powered by a three stage electric motor(available in a later auction) and maintained line pressure on a three story buildings sprinkler system. This unit appears to have been repainted at some point in its history and will need a new connector to fit into your system. This unit is in working condition and has good compression. This unit was removed from a waveguide dehydrator where one side was being used for vacuum and the other side for pressure. Markings are on the top of the cylinders. As well as the inlet and output ports being marked. All ports are 1/4 NPT. This pump has been refurbished with brand new piston cups and tested. Pressure is over 100psi. Unit is currently wired for 120VAC service, but can be changed to 230VAC ... moreoperation. Pump is mounted on four shock mounts, and comes with pressure relief valve on the pressure side with a male-to-male 1/4 NPT adapter at the output port. Vacuum side has a screen on the inlet port. Here is a Muffler Box for the Gast Rotary vacuum pumps. This will make your pump much quieter. The Gast part number for it is AK520. The model numbers for the Gast vacuum pumps this will fit are: 0823& 1023& 1423. It is used but in good condition. It comes with a new gasket and bolts. It will have some scratches. Or discoloration or stains. In order to use this muffler box you will need the end cap assembly if you don't already have them. I sell them on Ebay also. Their Ebay listing number is: 200988625653 Just enter that number into the ebay search box and they will come up. It takes 2 end cap assemblies. The inlet and outlet piping size is 3/8" NPT.
