I bought this new. It was used it for 6 months(300 hours) It is rated for 10.000 hours. It was serviced by Ingersoll Rand and runs perfect. We replaced with a larger screw compressor due to growth. It is as close to new as you will ever find. It has a 2 Stage compressor and a 7.5 hp motor which produces 24.5 CFM. It also has a copper cooler which helps lengthen the compressors life and minimized water in the lines and tank. It is wired for 3 phase 230 but we ran it on 208 voltage. Kaeser SM11 10HP Rotary Screw Air Compressor 230/460V 3 Phase - See Video!
For sale is a 1987 Kaeser SM 11. The compressor isn't perfect cosmetically. But that is expected from an older unit. It runs well and produces 42 cfm at 110 psi. It only has 30050 hours so it still has plenty of life left in it. It is currently wired for 460V, but can easily be switched to 230V. I can switch the wiring for the buyer. The oil looks clean, but I'm not sure when it was changed last. I would recommend changing the oil and filters within the next 1000 operating hours or so. The compressor is missing the panel for the electrical connections. A cover could easily be made if the buyer desires. The green indicator light doesn't appear to work. This doesn't affect performance and I'm sure the light could be fixed/replaced inexpensively. Please see the pictures and video to determine the condition for yourself. Quincy 230 air compressor pump
This is a quincy 230 compressor pump. Had a 5hp electric motor on it. This compressor was used in my paint shop for years, it was working fine but getting a little oil in the air, so I took it to a shop to have it rebuilt. They took it apart and said getting a new one for $1200 would be the best way to go. The new one is half as heavy as this one, doesn't put out as much air, and is twice as loud. I hate to throw this one away after seeing the quality of it compared to the new one. I have all the parts this auction is for the whole thing, I would sell individual parts if it doesn't sell.
