I used& loved this Tektronix 475 scope for years. It always worked well. But recently I've purchased a fancy Agilent digital scope. So it's finally time to find this old Tek475 a new home. The oscilloscope includes 2 Tek P6109 probes(only one has the spring grabber) And a third non-Tek 100 MHz probe for the external trigger. As you can see in the 2nd photo. I connected a function generator for testing, just to make sure everything still works. The function generator isn't included, but the 3 scope probe are. I didn't exhaustively test every single feature, but I did spend several minutes strolling down nostalgia lane with several waveforms and settings. remembering old projects where I used this scope. This is a nice scope; I like it a lot. It has several menus. And functions selectable from those menus. I am an electrician and not an electronics guy. I like this scope because the way it is set up makes it easy for a dummy like me to get a usable waveform on a usable display really quickly. As best as I can tell, everything works. There is a self diagnostic the scope goes through upon start up; it passes that. There are three or four additional menu-selectable diagnostics that you can run. The scope passes all those tests. The accessory pouch is attached. There are two manuals(in great shape) included. The display functions properly. The probes you see in the photos are not included. I will pay the shipping to the lower 48 states. No joke. This is a working 10MHz Russian mini-oscilloscope and built-in DMM that works perfectly. The unit is sold with a working 100MHz scope probe, meter leads and the operating/service manual(schematics included) shown in the first photo. This super-clean, gently-used scope has had its original non-standard meter probe jacks replaced with standard safety probe jacks; the non-standard Russian BNC connector(longer than IEEE standard barrel) replaced with a new one; and the power cord replaced with a safe, properly-grounded three-prong standard one. Important note: the DMM common black connector is common to chassis ground and power cord ground. As you can see in the photos, all labelling on the scope(and the manual) is Cyrillic, however if you know how to use a scope, you'll quickly figure out all of the standard controls on the front ... moreand on the sides. I have photographed it next to my old Fluke 79 to give an idea of its size. It weighs exactly 8 pounds and its dimensions are 8" wide by 13" deep and 4" high. Scope trace is bright and sharp. Also passes the signal path compensation routine(SPC) as often as initiated. Bandwidth on all 4 channels measures to well beyond 500 MHz. Minor blemishes are present. All typical for a bench scope properly cared for. The worste blemish is to the left of the blue Tektronix logo on the front panel nameplate.The display is perfect. This one has option 2M(8M Max/2M Ch) 2A(Advanced Analysis) and is at Windows 2000 w/Service Pack 3. This scope does not have the thermal printer or touch screen options(if there is an upside. This does improve the displays appearance) You will want to use at a minimum a mouse with it(included in the top compartment) I like the small form factor keyboards with touch ... morepad built in. All controls function as intended on and on… It’s a nice scope. For comparison. This scope would compete with aTDS3054x of any generation. This scope would have a larger foot print on the bench, a bit more noisy, but the acquisition system on this scope is vastly more powerful, and is analytically presentation wise far superior as well. This oscilloscope uses a windows based motherboard to supervise a separate PowerPC board that manages a separate acquisition board. ALL of the heavy lifting is accomplishes with the PowerPC/Acquisition board(oscilloscope side) So the windows board is not heavily burdened as an oscilloscope and can run unrelated applications. Some scopes of this era were so called closed boxes(windows board/acquisition board only) un-approved third party software would crash them and was not allowed; and the interface during calculations could become halting. Still relevant. This scope was advertised to have a waveform capture rate of 100,000 waveforms per second, the DPO/MDO4000 are said to be 50,000 wfps scopes. But everything I can find about it is written in Dutch. If you can read Dutch or translate a.pdf to English, At least a schematic is an international"language" I don't know much about the unit other than it's from sometime around late 1969. Condition: The scope is in good condition despite it being 45 years old! I tested it out and there was a trace on the screen. But it was very dim even when intensity turned all the way up. I was unable to get a even a voltage reading when using a 1.5 volt battery I had handy for a quick voltage reading. So it does power up, there is something on the screen(dim) so it may be as simple as a dried up capacitor or something ... moreelse. It's a fairly simple analogue unit, so a resourceful electronics hobbyist or skilled ham radio operator could probably get it working. As seen in the photos. Hameg HM203-4 20 MHz analog CRT oscilloscope
Lightly used. Functional. Bought new circa 1982. This is a utility grade analog CRT portable bench scope, non-storage. It's technologically obsolete for professional purposes, but may be of interest to the hobbyist or collector. The unit has been powered up and verified functional(12/13/2014) but it has not been calibrated since it left the factory and no representation is made as to state of calibration or alignment. Some of the front panel controls are a little flaky, but it appears to be nothing a little contact cleaner wouldn't cure. This unit is expressly offered on an as-is basis. LG 5020G 20 MHz Oscilloscope Dual Trace Working 9020
This is an LG Precision OS-5020G dual-trace oscilloscope with built-in 1 MHz function generator. This same model has been branded"Goldstar" Or"Lucky Goldstar" and sometimes appears as a model number 9020G. The same model is still being built and sold by E-Z Digital, which apparently purchased the oscilloscope division from Lucky Goldstar. I purchased this unit around 1997, and it is still in excellent cosmetic and working condition. All the controls and switches operate smoothly with no noise. The unit is well within its calibration specs. The CRT display is 8x10 cm, with an internal, non-illuminated graticule. Vertical sensitivity is 5 volts per division to 5 millivolts per division with a bandwidth of 20 MHz. Pulling the variable knob out engages a 5 times magnifier. Giving a 1 millivolt per division maximum sensitivity, ... morebut with a bandwidth of 7 MHz. The"dual" mode automatically switches between chopped and alternate sweep depending on the sweep speed, giving the best appearing display at all sweep speeds. There is an"add" mode which displays a single trace consisting of the sum of both channels. There is a channel 2 invert switch which, when used with"add" mode, displays the difference between the two channels, also known as"differential mode" Horizontal sweep ranges from 200 nanoseconds per division to 0.2 seconds per division. A 10X magnifier increases the maximum speed to 20 nanoseconds per division. There are TV-V(ertical) and TV-H(orizontal) trigger modes to facilitate display of video signals(of limited use now with the obsoleting of NTSC tv signals) There is an external trigger input on the back panel. Selectable with the front-panel trigger source switch. The unit has an X-Y mode where channel 1 is the X axis and channel 2 is the Y axis.
