I find not keeping track of hours by plain 2465 to be a serious drawback(you wouldn't want 1 that racked 262000 hours in its 30 years existance by being left on all the time, or even with 66000 hours if it was left on 1/4th the time) Scopes I sell have clocked less than 20000 hours. For 2465A that works out to no more ON than about 1/10th of the time. Another serious drawback of plain 2465 is a no longer made fan. 2465A uses a still available fan, and I do replace them as bearings wear. The only advantage I can think of that plain 2465 had was not needing a Li battery for memory backup. I routinely replace the Li battery in 2465As I sell(doubt others do, since doing it deletes cal) This Tek 2465A. A 350MHz analog scope, will be sent to you freshly calibrated, and ready to use. I can email you the op manual or copy it unto a CD& send it along with scope. I have several. Vertical sensitivity goes down to 5mV/div. Horizontal sweep goes to 2ns/div(10X) Unit has all kinds of sweep and trigger modes. Total weight is about 24 pounds. Used unit in good physical and electrical condition. We have checked this unit out and it seems to be in good operating condition. The B +/ trigger switch does operate. But the shaft seems to be loose inside the unit. Also, in the A INTEN sweep mode the A trace seems to stop at the end of the B trace, not a big deal but think it should continue to the end of the screen(see next to last photo) The last photo is the B timebase ALT function(which looks like it works fine) Screen is nice and bright with good focus and no burns. This came in from a test facility that had some older equipment that they didn't need anymore. This looks like it was in storage and not used for awhile. A lot of stuff we get from h ere works fine. See a lot of great positive feedbacks we have gotten from these. And haven't been tested and sold as parts/repair, so must have been pretty good! I am not a technician, but I did plug it in and it fired up okay. F irst powered up and showed a trace pretty much centered in the lower part of the grid. I moved the trace left/right. Up/down. Increased/decreased intensity. Adjusted the focus, etc. I decided to punch a bunch of buttons to get the panel to light up and show that it does seem to work somewhat. Came up with two different traces, with two lines in each trace. Picture three has a dual trace in the center(center two lines) with a bigger dual trace(upper and lower lines) enclosing the inner dual trace.There is not much else I can do to test this since I have no probes. Machine looks great and looks like it would run just fine. B ut since I can't test. Will be selling as a parts/repair unit and sold AS IS. Showed some things I can do, and looks to work somewhat.
