I've had this Smithco truck for about 13 years. I put a new engine in. Painted it, and have used it at my house and my parent's for yard clean up, hauling rock and dirt. This unit was probably built in the 80's for golf course use. The hydraulic dump will dump the box when it is full of dirt. The hydro for the forward/reverse control is operated with your foot. The truck has newer rear tires on it. There are a couple of issues with the truck: The left rear wheel seal is leaking a VERY small amount but enough to make the rim attract dust. There are no gages in the dashboard. The ammeter was broken and the tachometer was missing. The only wiring on the unit is for the front lights, horn, and ignition switch. Up for bid is a very nice 1999 John Deere 6 x 4 Gator with a gas engine. The Engine is a Kawaski V-twin water cooled gas motor FD620D. This machine runs and drives as it should with no known problems. The motor has no ticks. No vibrations, and does not smoke. Chains. Clutches, brakes, and tires are all in good condition. It has a lever that locks the differential to lock in all 4 back wheels. Within in the last month the oil. Filters, and plugs have been changed. All dash lights work as they should and has an emergency brake. Has a new battery. One bed fender is missing and a small crack in another.
