Vintage Lot of over 25 Colorful Kitchen Aprons, Half, Bib, Full, 1930's - 1960's
BIG LOT OF HOMEMADE DECORATIVE KITCHEN APRONS. There are over 25 Aprons included in this lot. 27 I think to be exact. These are all made handmade, used and a few of them have a few spots where they where repaired, small tiny holes, only 2 or 3. There are no noticeable stains, though there may be a spot or so that I may have missed, but generally well preserved for linen of this age. I have washed them and lightly ironed them. Also included is a clothes pin holder made to look like a small dress. The colors of these aprons are bright. One of the aprons has the top band missing, maybe it was not finished. There are embroidered ones, bibs, half aprons with pockets, hankie pocket aprons, full aprons with piping and trim. Just to clarify. These do not look like new, they are not perfect, they look like they came out of your Grandma's closet ... moreor drawer and have been lovingly used. There is still much life left in them, or you could use them for their beautiful floral material for crafts or quilting. You will find normal wear on them. The material is soft. Expect that I may have missed a stain or two, but nothing that jumps out at you. A few holes that have been repaired and some trim may be loose, a seam may need to be resewn, etc. I have not done any repair work on them. You will get the lot as I purchased them, but I have washed them. Winning bidder to pay actual shipping. And pay with paypal within 3 days of auction end. They are home made from feedsacks and other early fabrics. Most have been used so a few will have a li ghter stain here and there most are without any stains and and there are many of them that look as if they were never used or used very little I personally have never treated any of the spots. The bib apron is cute but the top has been torn I don't know if it could repaired or maybe it could be made into a wai st apron(see photo) I did not see any holes or tears on any of the other items in this auction. 2 Vintage 1958 McCall's Apron Patterns Two wonderful apron patterns. Both have short half aprons with cute waist lines and pockets, while one shows an optional bib. Pattern 2299 has monograms that can be placed on the pocket or bib shoulder. The other pattern is a hard to find SAMPLE pattern that offers a cute misses or junior short apron with optional rick rack decorations. Pattern 2299 has been cut but is complete, nicely folded with instructions and unused monogram transfer. The sample pattern is uncut in original factory folds with instructions. The envelope are in good condition with age spots and some browning. There are no odors. I'm sure you'll love having these unique apron patterns in your collection. Not well sewn, functional rather than perfect meeting of seams, etc. Please NOTE: These aprons do not have back collars. The front was put at appx the top of a bra cup and straight pinned in place. The bib will not stay up on its own. Individual aprons pictured left to right: Bubble gum pink floral-looks unused. Unwashed, feedsack material. Two vintage aprons unused with original tags. First apron is bib style and 100% cotton. Second is a half apron 100% cotton. Both have not been washed and have been packed away for years. These are an estate find. Both very good condition.

Vintage Set of 2 Cotton Hand Embroidered Bib Aprons
Vintage and so cute hand embroidered bib style aprons. There are no neck ties as they were pinned to the ladies dress or blouse back in the 1940's. The white one is missing waist ties all you need is some rick-rack or ribbon. There is one small stain as shown in the last picture. The peach apron shows signs of use with some discoloration and small pin size holes as seen in the picture. The white aprons measures 31" long by 22" across at the waist. As described in listing. Believed to be large size but not really sure as strawberry has no label and the flower label has faded. Photos of the strawberry close up show the couple of paint stains and a tiny fray at the sleeve. Otherwise in pretty good shape and the flower one is in the best shape of the two. A lot of 6 cute vintage aprons. Most in great used condition. Please see all photos for item details. From left to right: The red checked half apron with the front white pocket is 17" The heart print half apron with the red trim is 18" The bib apron with the big roses and green rick rack is about 33" from shoulder to hem. This looks like a feed sack fabric and it will fit a smaller lady. It has has a couple of small holes and the pocket needs restitched. The rose print bib apron with the red and green rick rack is about 35" from shoulder to hem. It is also a small/medium. The half apron with the red tulip aprons is 19" and the dotted swiss apron is 19 1/2" One of the apron strings is attached but needs restitched. The aprons have been laundered and are ready for use.
