I thought they were black but if the light hits them just right they are a very dark blue. Like a blue black. The cuff links have minor scuffs in the center design and a few small flakes at the edges. Of course this is an all cotton shirt. It does have some condition issues. I guess I would too if I was as old as it is. Anyway. It’s missing one button on the back. Did I mention it buttons up the back well it does. It should have 3 buttons but its missing the middle one. The collar has a number 15 stamped on it. My guess is that is the size. If you want it white again because it is cotton all you need to do is hand wash it in cold water with a little detergent of your choice. Let it soak for a while them put it in the sun. The shirt is designed to button up the back and has a button hole at the front for attaching a stiff collar. The original neck tag is still in place and reads"EXTRA HEAVY 9 LBS" There are no size markings. The shirt is made of a an excellent quality cotton material. The actual current measurements of the shirt are as follows. Tuxedo shirt, pleat front, L 32-33, used, for Mardi Gras or other formal
Tuxedo shirt from Chaplin. Size L 32-33. white with pleated front. This is the kind with buttons, so you won't need a studs to wear it, although any man will look like a stud in it at the Mardi Gras ball. However, the shirt is a retired rental and while it is in good usable condition, it looks just a bit dingy and has a quarter-sized stain on the front that may or may not wash out. I have not tried. Stain or not, the shirt could still be used under a vest. I have also seen these shirts turned into wearable art with designs painted on them, and this shirt is a good candidate for that. Vintage? VTG ? tuxedo shirt studs onyx mother of pearl-like gold setting - 3
From an older relative's collection. No marks or brands to indicate age/brand or material type. These screw together in the middle. One side is black- what I would call an onyx-like material. The other side is a mother of pearl-like finish. There are three studs. Measuring about 3/8 of an inch across the surface and 3/8 inch high. Very good condition and ships quickly and carefully from a smoke-free and pet-free home.
