Calkins Plans Measure Approximately: 48" x 23.5" Condition: Excellent(only a few small nicks on edges) Original paper has very slight discoloration from age. A little research on these plans discovered some interesting information. George Calkins was a legendary boat builder. These plans came from an estate sale where other maritime memorabilia was found. I hope to have additional boat plans and literature up for bids in the next couple of weeks. Good Luck Bidding. I hope these plans go to a good home. Milwaukee, Peoria Heights, Newark, Los Angeles, P-412. It is mostly red and yellow with a picture of swinging tavern doors and the classic Pabst waiter/bartender& 3 glasses. Around the outside of the tray is printed alternately The Original, and Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer. The tray measures 13 1/4 in. diameter x 1 1/2 in. deep and of sturdy metal construction. There are scattered small areas of surface rust, surface scratches and paint loss throughout much of the tray and one small dent on the rim but overall is in seems in good shape. This is a vintage Mr. Bartender Deluxe Cocktail Mixing Set. It comes with a metal shaker. Strainer, metal mixing spoon with a plastic red ball at the end, and a frosted glass cocktail mixing cup with the directions on how to make several classic drinks! The 10" long mixing spoon has some signs of surface rust, only on the stick part and only facing up, not underneath it. The 6" tall frosted glass with recipes is in great condition, only a couple faint markings that do not take away from the look of this glass. The 7" metal shaker looks like any shaker would after a little bit of use; some very light scratches it also says Mr. Bartender Products Stainless Steel on the bottom. The strainer has a few very light scratches is in great shape and doesn't have any surface rust, it is also marked Mr. Bartender Products Stainless ... moreSteel. The box is in good condition for its age. Very solid. The box and its edges have some wear to it and there is some slight discoloration from age in the spots. There is a white piece of tape on the top right corner, it doesn't appear to be covering a tear in the box. There are a few water stains, mainly on the bottom. The cardboard piece that holds the spoon on either side has a tear in it and the flap that hold the frosted glass has a rip in it but doesn't stop it from holding the glass still. This is a very nice hardcover bartender's guide published in 1971 by the now-defunct Old Mr. Boston distillery. It's digest-sized. And contains 149 illustrated pages of drink recipes, background on various liquors, bar equipment, etc. Some light wear and a wrinkle on the cover, but overall nice shape.
