Vintage 40s Pinup Navy Wiggle Dress With White Detail And Skirt Pockets Size M
ITEM: Vintage 1940s Pinup Navy Blue Wiggle Dress With White Accents And Skirt Pockets Size Medium CONDITION: Good Condition. Yes. This baby has a couple of flaws, but is still very much wearable. All flaws are shown in the pictures. First, the sides where there was once belt loops attached. This is easily remedied by wearing a belt to cover them up. Next, there is a small pinhole on the left upper side of the neckline. I did not do the honors of snipping the threads, I will leave this up to you. There is also a small little fray on the left breast seam that needs to be touched up with some scissors. You will also notice an area on the left hand side on the back and an area of the seam on the right lower butt area where a few threads need snipped as well. All of these flaws can be minimized with some snipping of the threads, but again, I will ... moreleave this up to you. If you know some basic sewing, all of these flaws are due to a seam coming apart and can all be restored by taking in the seam just a tiny bit. SIZE ON TAG: Tag reads size 14. MATERIAL: No labels. But I believe that this is a heavy linen in a navy blue. DESIGNER LABEL: No label. Measurements are in inches and have already been doubled where applicable. Please refer to the MEASURING GUIDELINES below. SQUARE NECKLINE-Accented with an underlay of white in the front. Also for detailing are the 4 round pearlized plastic buttons. Two at each corner of the neckline. They are not functional buttons but are used to tack the white and navy pieces together. SHOULDER SEAM TO SHOULDER SEAM approx 20"Cap sleeve style. BUST/UNDERARM TO UNDERARM 38"Breast Darts for a nice tailored look. WAIST 29"Front and back waist darts for a nice fit. HIP 39"Great pockets at each hips side.
