Vintage WW II U.S. Army Southern Defense Command original uniform shoulder patch
This is part of a large collection of World War II military jacket patches and insignia my dad sent me to sell on ebay. As a young boy during WW II. He wrote to serviceman asking them to send him their patches and he collected these in a large scrapbook. I always admired them as a child myself and he recently sent me the entire box. Some I'm going to keep because I like the design or they have personal meaning but others I'll be selling here when I find the time. I guarantee that all of these are authentic and were collected by my dad during WW II. As I learn myself about the collectability of these patches I bought a black light so I can represent that they do not glow when when placed under it- to the extent you want more reassurance they are in fact original.
