This is a pink depression glass open handled sandwich server made by the Jeannette Glass Company in the 1930s and would be a great addition to your depression glass collection. This is old. But has no noticeable nicks, chips or cracks to the naked eye, but I have not looked this over with a magnifying glass. The tray measures 12.5 in handle to handle and there are definitely mold marks and minor roughness characteristic of glass of this era. Although this is used, I do not see any evidence of wear. All items have been cleaned and my house has no pets and is non-smoking. This coffee server measures approximately 8 inches long including the handle and about 8 1/2 inches tall to the top of the lid. The carafe is made of pottery with bright orange glaze in Bauer's Ringware pattern. The handle is made of copper-colored metal with a raffia-wrapped handle. I have a nice antique Austrian Habsburg China covered server with a floral motif. This piece is in great shape. With no chips at all. It does have a hairline crack along the bottom, but it is very old and will not spread any further; there are no leaks when water is put into it so it is very minor. It has gold accenting on the handles, and the Habsburg China logo on the bottom. It measures 10 1/4" x 8 1/4" x approx. 6" tall. This is a very nice piece for use or display. Vintage 1940's Jeannette Glass Anniversary Sandwich Tray Server Plate
This dish is a 1940's Jeannette Glass Anniversary sandwich server 12.5 inches in diameter and has a narrow gold trim on the rim. There are wear spots in the gold but most of it is intact. No chips or cracks but there are utensil scratches. I will provide shipping insurance. This dish was passed to me through my mother who acquired them from her two aunts and grandmother who lived in Seattle. Washington. These aunts were both in their 90’s when they died in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s. Mom was not particularly a collector so when each of the aunts moved to the Ridgefield area to live closer to her in the 1970’s. The dish was packed away and placed in storage. Mom’s household belongings. Including the dish,were moved to Elma for storage when she moved into assisted living in 2000 and when she died in 2011 the dish passed to me. The dish stand 13 3/4" tall and measure 10" diameter across the top rim of the largest level. on the bottom is the Johnson Bros. stamp stating Made In England.
