I am selling this wonderful old original paper edition of The Rock The Link With Home magazine. Printed by the Gibraltar Chronicle Printing Office. It is Vol 3. No 1 for the month of March 1943 and measures 10 3/4 inches by 8 3/8 inches, comprising 20 pages. The front page features a Tom Turner cartoon and the Rock was ex cited at the forthcoming visit of Joan Gilbert. The'Voice of Gibraltar' The monthly paper was issued throughout World War II and carried all the news of the endeavors of the British Naval fortress. The condition is very good. It has the odd nick and mark and discolouration d ue to the poor quality of paper used. But overall it's in fine fettle for the age. I have quite a few more issues. This is a great find! Looking for a good room equalizer for my surround system I was searching into the old Urei line considering buying several units and pairing them up(I like older Urei and Universal Audio recording studio equipment and didn't have the money back then to upgrade my Anthem AVM20 and buy the new system with the ARC feature) Although this solution wouldn't solve other desired features such as delay. Filtering, etc. it would give me some control over frequencies I needed to correct. And then I found the DIVA. AudioControl is well known for producing high-end equalizers. Crossovers, spectrum analyzers and fine audio equipment for decades. I had their legendary C-101 providing accurate analysis and equalization back in the day. At close to $9K the DIVA was probably the most comprehensive Room Correction solution available ... moreand it's still one of the best tools to upgrade any home-theater system.
