Up for sale is this 1940's Richmond double basin farm sink set in good condition. The sink is approx 43" wide at widest by 25 1/2" front to back by 12" high. The apron is 7" and the back splash is a total of 5" The basins are 17" wide x 16"There is a super deep basin on the right at approx 12" deep and the left is 6" deep. The outside faucet holes are 8" o/c and are standard size deck mount. The sink includes its original adjustable porcelain over cast iron legs and a set of wall hangers. The sink set is 70+ years old with its original porcelain and has been used. It shows signs of minor wear, sm nicks, chips, scratches, crazing etc etc. but overall is in good condition. There were chips along the edges that were repaired and touched up, please see photos, they certainly do not distract ... morefrom the sinks character. Original sinks in this condition are few and far between. Condition and style are everything when it comes to a sinks value. A white pinner apron(including original small straight and safety pins) with lovely pink, blue, and golden yellow flowers, with deep green leaves and stems. They are all different varieties. She has a"pompon" of flowers on a ribbon for her hair. She also has lightweight soft blue socks with embroidered flowers on the outside of the ankle. It was made in 1992. This pre-WWI long white heavy cotton apron belonged to a woman who got up. Put her hair in a bun, and went to spend long, long grueling days working in some sort of factory in the 1900-1919 era. And by the way, she worked six days a week. It has her name tag stitched into it: Corrine M. McLoughlin. It has a 2 1/2" wide waistband that is 29" long. The waist to hem measurement is 27" Hem sweep is 70"this was meant to be worn over the long full skirts and petticoats of the Edwardian era. It has button holes on both sides of the waistband, so it must have closed with some kind of double button. This is a piece of working American woman's history. 1950's Vogue Ginny PINK & WHITE DRESS w/attached APRON & Bloomers EUC
This little 1950's cotton outfit is offered in excellent used condition. No problems noticed, apparently played with little. The dress is made of dark pink and white print material with solid dark pink stitched on apron straps. The dark pink apron is loose in the front, but is attached in the back. It is edged with white scalloped trim. The dress fastens in the back with one hook and eye at the waist and has a Vogue tag on the inside waist area, left side. The tag has: VOGUE DOLLS, Inc. MEDFORD, MASS. U.S.A. REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. Tag is in excellent condition, looks like it was never washed. The bloomers have elastic in the waist and legs and match the dress. The doll is in good condition with little wear to her. I see no stains and no rips on her. The back of her white hat has a small area where the elastic is stretched some.
