1970's Morley Wah-Volume Pedal - Tel-Ray Electronics - Chrome Housing!
Here is a 1970's Vintage Morley Wah-Volme pedal made by the Tel-Ray Electronics Manufacturing Company. This pedal is in excellent condition. Its chrome body makes it a tank. There is some wear from usage that would be expected with a 37-ish year pedal. Mild sticker goo residue on the top area on the left. Here is a snippet from wingspreadrecords.com/morley_page.html: As good as the new Morleys are. There are many guitarists who continue to prefer the tall chrome Tel-Ray Morleys. The original Morley pedal, with its large housing and extremely long pedal throw, allows for subtle and very precise control with the treadle. The newer Morleys, with their much shorter pedal throw, make it more difficult to make minute changes. Interestingly enough, I once talked to the folks at Sound Enhancements about the possibility of re-issuing the original ... moretall chrome Morley line. The spokesman for Sound Enhancements said that although they get requests for that sort of thing all the time that they had no plans to do so. Then he went on to say that they can no longer build the tall Morley with its long pedal throw because of concerns of possible damage to the human foot due to the exaggerated pedal throw! Wow- that's weird! I've been using Tel-Ray Morleys for over thirty years now and I'm not hobbling around! For better or worse, I guess modern day regulations about ergonomic design have finally laid the old Tel-Ray Morley design to rest.

I bought this unit used in 1987 and it worked great. Later on in The late 80s the belt broke and i just kept it and quit using it. i recently got it out and plugged it in and it still comes on and i can hear it rotating. Delay knob seems sticky prob needs a cleaning and from what i read about these it may need oil. What i can tell you is this unit is all original and has no cosmetic flaws. last time i used it it worked just fine. please email me with questions and it will be sold as is. Up for sale is a very rare 60's solid state guitar amplifier with original pedal. It would be in like new condition if it wasn't for a tiny ding om the tolex. It comes with a vinyl cover(has 1" rip in seem) The amp is a 90 watt combo with two 12" speakers on casters. As you can see by the faceplate. There are many connections facilities in this amp(stereo/aux inputs/external speaker output) as well as built in reverb and tremolo. Apparently the effects are produced by an oilcan method that was invented by the founder of Tel Rey and is produced a very sought after tone.
