The following items are included(see photos) 1. Field-emission SEM column and vibration-isolation platform(main unit” The column is mounted on a very heavy(3600lb) vibration-isolation platform. The operating manual indicates an ion pump and turbo vacuum pump on the column. The column has a load-lock chamber for 150mm semiconductor wafers and a joystick-controllable stage. Industrial casters are included which allow the column-platform to be wheeled for transport. Cosmetic ... moremetal shrouds are included for appearance. 2. Up for auction is this useed but very nice 60 quart Vacuum chamber made by Vollrath dist. Electron Microscopy Sciences. Measures almost 22" tall counting the valves and 17 1/4" wide not counting the handles. Made of very thick and very heavy Machined aluminum. Lid has 1/4" fritted inlet valve, 5/8" outlet with ball valve and guage goes up to 30 In HG. I tested the chamber until it buried the needle on the guage and it held vacuum pefectly with a nice tight seal. Comes with a Solid stainless steel tray with legs which measures 15 1/2" wide and 11" tall. The legs are taped because they wobble even though they are threaded in place but tray has very little movement inside the chamber. Thick padded side handles and heavy plastic lid handle. Vintage Precision Series 910 Electron Tube Tester
Series 910 vintage tube tester made by Precision Apparatus Company(Paco) Tube roll dates it from 1952. No owners manual. Metal case as shown in pictures. No outer wooden case or lid. Tested a couple of tubes to check its working condition. Tube tester is working. However, unable to verify the readings as do not have another tube tester to compare. Tests vintage tubes 4, 5, 7 pins, octal, loctal and miniature 9 pin tubes. The metal plate shows signs of age- please look at all enlarged pictures to see what the winner will receive. Such a cool item. This Hafnium Slug was formed by melting smaller pieces together in a crucble under High vacuum with an Electron Bombardment Beam. Once they reached a certain level in the crucible. They would open a shutter that was covering the material and since it was under vacumm the only thing present is Hafnium and it would coat what ever optics were in the coating chamber. They would add little pieces and melt it in if they needed to do more than one coatiing run. Once the job is finished they would go to the next and if it used different coating chemcals,remove the slug and save it for another day. well they stopped using it at this place several years ago and i was able to procure it. For sale here is a HICKOK Model 532 vacuum tube tester. The unit is working as you can see by the first picture im testing a known good 6L6. The unit does seem to be complete though unit will need a good cleaning as most tube testers do. I sprayed the insides down with deoxit to help with connectivity and electrical lubricant to help the switches turn smoothly. As with all tube testers it MUST be assumed that the unit needs a calibration. As you can see it is working powering on(pilot lamp needs replaced) etc. The roll chart is free and moving as well as the switches and knobs including a free moving meter.
