1995 Genie 45/22 Z-Boom 4X4 articulating scissor lift jlg NEEDS WORK - IOWA
Cleaning out the shop! 1995 Genie 45/22 4x4 Gas/LP Ford engine. I bought this about 4 months ago and drove it in the shop to service it up and fix a couple things and then resell it. Yes. I am a mechanic but I work alone, would be easier repairing this with 2 people. So after 4 months I still haven't found the time to fix it so I just need it gone! I went to move it last week and a drive hose started to leak, to fix it you have to drop a big weight block underneath to get at the fitting(2 man job) There is also a small slave cylinder on the boom that needs seals, it is also a bitch to get at- I am going to bypass it, it just keeps the basket level, you can just manually level it. The basket swivel also leaks, needs new seals. I have it bypassed so now it doesn't leak. Someone painted it dark green, sloppy job, but it is on good and ... morethick. All the lower controls work. The only thing that didn't work on the upper controls is the boom riser down function. I did change all the filters. Spark plugs, oil, good battery, ect. New decal for the upper control panel. You are buying it as-is. It starts and runs nice. Tires are weathered but have good tread and hold air. It just needs some TLC. These are a tough outdoor lift. Here is what I think it will cost to fix- not including labor. Hyd hose to drive motor- $150 Slave cylinder seal kit- $100 Basket swivel seal kit- $100 Misc- $250? Plus your own labor. I have a dock and can push it onto your trailer. I can also haul it within 250 miles for $2.00 a mile. Can also help setup long distance hauling. Located in west central Iowa- Schleswig 51461.
