It sat for about 1 yr so the seal may be just dry. It runs on gas or lp and has a nissan h20 fo ur cylinder motor. Th e machine has 6100 and change on the hour met er and weighs about 25.000 lbs. The tires have a lot of life left on them but arent perfect. Bot h axels are steer axels. The drive axel is hydrostatic. For Sale:1996 Grove Super Maxx SM4688XT 1996 Grove 40' 4wd all terrain Manlift Scissor Lift. Dual fuel gas and propane although the propane tank and brackets would have to be re-installed. Deck is: 6'wide by 11'8"long. There is an extension that provides an additional 5-6' of deck space. The lowered height is 9'6" if you remove the railings it is 6'6" GVW 10,900 lbs This pistons and hoses are all in good shape with no leaks. The tires show some wear but have decent tread and are perfectly useable. Everything works. Recently rebuilt control box, new carburetor, new flywheel, rebuilt starter, new cap rotor wires etc. new fuel pump and fuel cell. Some new hoses. Lift does not leak down at all! The kubota engine works excellent and has very good and consistent compression amongst all 3 cylinders. The hydraulics are solid. And have never given us any issue. The controls all work well. The unit has all wheel drive and will crawl through nearly anything. The tires have wear and gouges, but all hold air well and work well. I have only added air once in 6 months. It doesn't use oil or hydraulic fluid. The lift is 2 wheel steer, and that works well. After saying all of that, ... moreit is a used lift, and it does have bumps and bruises, mortar and stucco on it, bends in the handrails, etc. We didn't fix any of that because it worked for us just as it is. This lift is large enough to handle most jobs, and carry extra manpower to do it! I think it's safe to say that anyone would more than make their money on this within a few months of work!
