A very clean track saw. I ordered it from Amazon a while back hoping to work on a few projects but never got around to starting them. Now that I've moved and don't even have a garage to work out of I figured there is no point keeping it around. I've used it once to cut a 1x3 and just see how the saw functioned but other than that it is a brand new saw. The track itself has NEVER been used and only opened for those pictures. The splinter guard is uncut. The saw itself will work perfectly fine on Festool tracks. But Festool tools will not work on the Makita track. This saw works great and is in excellent shape for its age and use. With scuffs, scratches& dirt from normal use. I have not used this saw in years, and it is from my own collection of tools. I pulled the brushes& they are a hair under 1/2" long, so lots of life left in them. The saw is damage free, no cracks breaks or missing chunks. It comes with a blade that seems sharp, but a little rusty. The steel base has surface rust. The name tag is very nice. Even the original cord is very nice, no cracks. Take a close look at the pics in case I missed anything. This is a nice example of how power tools used to be made, before everything went to Communist China& was made out of plastic.
