Vintage Airmaster Electric Oscillating Desktop Fan Four Aluminum Blades-10" Stands 14” tall with thumb screw for up/down positioning On/off toggle switch This fan is in as found condition was plugged in worked and oscillated but was a bit noisy and seemed a touch out of balance The shaft leading into motor has a little play in it not sure if this is normal and has a regular screw attaching fan blades to shaft instead of set screw which might be throwing it a bit out of balance When shutting off had to unplug the toggle switch did not properly work Cord has been spliced and has various small paintloss(see photos) Nice restoration project Please contact me for additional questions or photos. This little beast comes from the depths of the attic and has been in storage for the better part of the past 50 years. The Junior fan stands about 13" in height and the four screw-on metal brass blades measure 9" in diameter. As stated, it has been tested and is in working condition. The very durable motor has stood the test of time. It only has ONE speed and features only ONE"ON/OFF" switch. Who could go wrong with one switch and one speed? Vintage Robbins Myers 3 Speed Oscillating Fan Large Table Desk RM Brass Blades
This is for one Robbins& Myers Brass Blade Fan. Id# 3854, 3 speed, Oscillating + Tilting, approx. 20" tall and weighs 21 lbs 10 oz. The blades measured across are 16" and the cage measures 16.75" This is a great retro look for any room. The item is a recent estate purchase and I have not had this for very long. This fan runs on all speeds but tends to make some vibration rattling noise when going up to speed or coming down and occasionally at speed but for the most part it is fairly quite when reaching each speed. I can't tell if this is in the motor or the fan blades but I have tested this item and except for the noises it seems to run well. You just have to keep in mind that this is one very old fan and has not been restored. The paint is coming off here and there but mostly on the bottom part. The tag reads Robbins& ... moreMyers Co. The fan appears to be in very good original condition the paint shows slight signs of lost on the bottom rim the fan is in working condition. The fan works perfect and very quiet. The fan is supposed to be a five speed but works only on four. The oscillating wheel turns smoothly but the oscillating arm is missing. It appears to have a recent restoration with a new cord and new paint. It is tested and working wonderfully. There is a slight clicking noise(you can hear it in the video) when you turn it on or off. This has a FANtastic brass blade that measures approx. 15 1/2" across with 4 arms. This is in great unrestored condition. We plugged it in and it does turn. Just slowly. With some cleaning and oiling this would be a great display piece. The cage around the blade is quite minimalistic, but it really gives it a neat look and feel. Right under the power switch there is a printed plate that has been rubbed off with use. This is a very heavy piece in comparison to the ones you would find on a shelf today, and just between you and me i don't think we will be seeing those fans when they get as old as this one. The original company was founded by Elmer Gillmer in Warren, Ohio in 1893 as Warren Electric& Specialty Company. In 1902 the name was changed to Peerless Electric Company. Sometime along its long life this fan acquired the pizza style blades you see it with here. I suspect these blades may have been installed by an original owner to"modernize" the fan after newer models came out. Electric cord has had some repair taping in the distant past. The cage appears fine and the fan blades don't vibrate as they would if they had been damaged. And I've had this fan run for hours and its just as pleasant, or more so, than you would expect. It doesn't appear to have ever had any repairs of any kind done to it- as far as I can tell all the mechanical parts are fine and functioning well. It retains its padded bottom and its original cord(I think) The shortcomings are that its getting old and the cosmetic parts show it- the paint on the motor body is flaking and the felt padding is quite worn. Its your decision what to do about those issues. 12.00 This is a very nice Westinghouse oscillating fan. This fan dates to the late teens. I have not seen another like this. It is style 164864G. It is in excellent cosmetic condition and works just great. It has a 4 position lever on the base that turns off and has 3 speeds. All positions work smoothly. The fan is very powerful and gives a brilliant stream of air. It is also surprisingly very quiet. The oscillating mechanism runs smooth and returns effortlessly upon its stroke. There is a wing nut that loosens the head from the base to control pitch of fan. What can I say about the cosmetic condition of this fan-Just gorgeous! I have made no effort to clean it as this is the way it came to me. It has been very well cared for. It has the original black paint which is remarkable. DETAILS Antique 16 Inch Brass Blades& Cage Oscillating Table Fan Cast Iron Base 3 Speed Up for sale is an antique desk fan manufactured by Hunter Fan& Motor Company in Fulton. New York. It is a desk fan perhaps in name only it has huge brass fans that measure 16 inches from tip to tip and its heavy cast iron base makes it weigh in at over 25 pounds un-boxed. The fan is a shining example of Art Deco design and looks awesome especially the patina on the blades. The Hunter company started producing oscillating desk fans in the 1920's and in the 1930's changed the name of the company. Given these facts I'd place the date of this fan in that decade. The fan would look even better when it is fully restored. With manual movement all the parts seemingly work(it pivots ... moreup and down and locks, it has free left to right movement, and the selector switch clicks, but this is all I can test on my own, I leave this in the hands of the professionals. Condition: Untested so sold for restoration or parts. Some of the cage locks need re-bending. The cord need restoration(reason for it being untested) and the blades, cage, and base show various degrees of oxidation and cage needs readjusting again. Blades are 16" across. On the base at the bottom is a round plate with the number: 236 stamped into the plate( see 6th picture) Cord is 14 feet long. This has a steel cage. This has( 3) speeds and it runs smooth at each speed. The oscillator started to work and then stopped for some reason and I couldn't ... moreget it to oscillate again. As for the condition it runs very well and smooth at all three speeds and does not vibrate in a violent manner when running. The Emerson badge on the front shows some wear. Handle on back has paint loss. Cage has some paint loss but looks fine( not bent up) Base has some paint loss and has some surface rust where the paint is missing. Cord has some issues and I don't believe it is original to the fan. Motor housing has some paint loss. In closing I believe with some restoration this will be a fine example to add to your Emerson fan collection. Please Enlarge my pictures so you can see everything clearly. GE General Electric WHIZ Oscillating Antique Fan Brass Blades Restored "LOOK"
If you have been looking for a beautiful and finely detailed oscillating“Whiz” fan to possibly go with your non-oscillating Whiz fan. Or may just be looking for one to use and display, you may never fine one of higher quality and detail. This one has been fully restored with loving care! Quite often the gears in these models are worn out but in this case everything is good and this one quietly oscillates and run strong and smooth. This fan is finished in the GE Hunter Green color. This fan has been totally restored in every detail and is the model with the built-in on/off switch. These fans were produced beginning in 1924 and were one of the most popular GE models because they were very affordable compared to other larger models. This is a single speed fan featuring an on/off switch, brass blades with oscillating motion. This fan has been ... moretotally disassembled and all originally painted parts sand blasted clean. These parts were then filed and sanded smooth prior to applying coats of epoxy 2-part automotive primer. Then. After wet sanding, two coats of 2-part automotive acrylic enamel were applied in Hunter Green, very close to the original GE color. Finally two coats of 2-part clear-coat were then applied over the green for additional hardened protection and later rubbed out for a lasting shine. I think the photos show the color fairly well which pretty well exhibits the true Hunter Green color. The old wiring has been replaced from head wire to line cord using“old style” cloth covered wire. Soldered and heat shrunk to the stator which has been fully inspected and coated with liquid insulation where needed. Finally, a new antique style plug was installed. The switch contact surfaces have also been cleaned for positive action. New rubber grommets replace all of the old original ones. All of the brass components including screws, oil reservoirs, nameplate and badge have been finely polished with clear coating applied for added protection. FEIN FMM250Q MULTI-TOOL w/ CASE and blades/attachments I'm not a professional. And this FEIN was used on a single bathroom project in my house. It's not in mint condition, but it's nearly new. It's basically what any FEIN would look like after being used for a couple hours, over several weeks, a few minutes at a time to: cut a couple studs out, make a couple outlet holes in drywall, etc. for a bathroom remodel. It's a great tool, but I don't have any construction projects planned in the near future. Comes with some new blades. Some used blades, and the sanding attachment and sand paper as pictured. A-C 110 Volt 60 Cycle E 38441 Cat 236327 NP 25935-B 12" Tall 9 1/2" Wide New period style head wiring and power cord. Cleaned/oiled motor and bearings. Wick condition new and has been oiled. New grommets. New green felt. Not lacquered. Paint& Polish. A little history: The first year or so that guards were made of steel(1916-1919) the“S” wires were wrapped around the front ring of the guard. About 1920 the“S” wires became spot welded to the front ring of the guard and the“S” wire merely made a 90 degree bend over the top of the front ring rather than being wrapped around it. Old barn find EMERSON model 29 646 brass blade 12" fan with four blades. All three speeds work. Oscillating mechanism works but does not rotate fan head. I have not oiled it which would probably help it smooth out. NO SHROUD. GOOD LUCK

Antique Robbins Myers 18.5" Fan, 12 inch blades, 14 in cage, 3 speed Oscillating
I am selling an antique Robbins and Myers fan. As pictured. It stands about 18.5 inches tall. The diameter of the blades is 12 inches and the diameter of the cage is 14 inches. It has three speeds and runs and oscillates great on all of them. The paint has chipped a little as you can see in the pictures and there is some corrosion on the base. The wire has been taped and probably needs to be taped again and the plug looks like it was a little bit flattened, but still plugs in just fine and works with no problem.
