This has been a great saw for me for the last few years. With my limited knowledge. I was able to replace the cylinder and piston last year and it was running good after that, Last fall. It started idling very high and then finally quit and I didn't have it worked on or try and fix it over the past winter. I am ready to buy a new saw as I don't have time to wait for a repair because I have some patio jobs to work on right away. If you know how to repair these. This may be great for you. The rope pulls and retracts. And it seems to have compression(as far as I can tell) The rope is short because it had broke and I made a quick fix in the field by shortening it. The kill button ... moredoesn't work. I think it's just the wire. I had been choking it to stop it(might be part of it's problem now) Two of the screws that hold the side panel are missing. I am selling a husky/ partner k750 demo saw. The saw was working beautiful as always and then after sitting for 5-6 months I went to use it again and it starts and runs mint for about 10-15 seconds and then dies out like it is not getting fuel. I'm more than sure it's a silly problem in the carb or gas line etc. I know it's nothing major. Selling as is and I'm more than sure it's a easy fix. A new carb is $30-40 and a complete rebuild kit(which it doesn't need because the compression is great) is about $60-$70 Shipping is $45 to lower 48 only. I drained the fuel& set it on the shelf in my garage. Well, I never got around to fixing it, so its time to get rid of it. It has 145 PSI compression, it is complete, aside from the broken spring I already mentioned. The pull rope could use another wrap to make it rewind all the way.
