2 STIHL HS 45 hedge trimmers. This lot is being sold"for parts not working" no returns or refunds, period. You are buying parts units here, they are NOT ready for work. The 24" unit needs to have the engine replaced. Its not seized. But the piston is scored(exhaust side) and it will not start. Has about 90 psi but will not'pop' at all. Gets fuel, has good spark but will not pop or start& run. The 18" unit will'pop' but it will not start& run. Has 130 psi but has a'hard stroke' preventing it from starting. My opinion is. It must have a piston groove at the top or the bottom of the cylinder, not letting it start. Fuel flow OK, spark OK. Has no start recoil as you can see the rope is out. I was moving the good starter back and forth for testing. The flywheel key is not stripped on this one. ... moreI checked it, it was fine. Good on the 24" unit as well. So here it is. But is currently needing TLC for it to be usable again and be it's best. The saw ser# is: 1615005xx. This chain saw is one of the more popular Stihl model saws ever produced. And for good reasons- just ask your friends! The current problem with this saw is that it has scored piston& rings. And possibly the cylinder wall as well. When looking through the muffler port you can see the scored piston, and it looks like it was running too lean, but ethanol fuel does some wierd stuff to engines. Accordingly the saw will need some attention and TLC for it to be it's best again- BUT the saw is super clean and is a very worthwhile project! The customer ... morewas starting to cut his big yearly supply of log length's that was just dropped off in his front yard. And did not want to wait for parts to be ordered and installed, so we took the saw in trade of a new unit, and we are offering the saw here on eBay as a restoration project for the person with the time, ability, tools, and knowledge to complete the task. The saw will need a rebuild to be usable again, and we do not know how good the bottom end is since it was not running when we received it. But overall the saw is in much better than usual condition when compared to other similar used saws- likely because it was owned by a normal consumer user who appreciated his investment and tried to take care of it accordingly. Just look at the front and bottom of the saw- there's hardly any paint missing- rare indeed. Stihl 075 076 Demo cut off Concrete Saw Chain saw Made in Germany Actually Im not sure what to call it. The recoil& Tank seems to match the 075& 076 chainsaw. However the clutch drum is belt drive wich contitutes demo saw. The starter& tank work good. the case is questionable. there is no play in conecting rod but the skirt is broke on the piston. The clutch seems good. I feel good about the crank shaft but no way to check. fly wheel has a broken fin. It does not roll at this time. It moves about an eighth of an inch maybe something is in there. This is the condition I got the saw in. Sold as is of course.
