Looks to be hand carved and hollowed. It has the feel of something ancient and the carving is quite crude. I don't know what this is though. Some kind of burner- maybe a piece of ancient hookah pipe or incense burner. The inside shows this was used for something like this as inside is black but nothing comes off it. It's height is 9 cms tall. The wider flared end is 6.5 cm and the smaller end is 4 cm. It is not totally rounded and it will lay on its side without rolling. If someone knows what it is I'd love to know. I looked up lots of marble antiquities and found sort of similar Persian/Middle Eastern items but nothing exactly like it. This is a vintage ink pen set.Was told it is on a marble base,that I will not say for sure.It has Cat D8H on both sides of the fuel tank.It is Brass and could use some cleaning.Not sure how old this is.The ink pen does not write,but can put a refill in it.The base is 5 3/4" X 4 3/4" X 3/4"the dozer is 5" long,2 1/4" tall,and 2 3/4" wide.Looks like there was a name plaque on it at onetime.There is a felt pad on the bottom.Both the dozer and pen holder could be tightened up a little,have not messed with it.This is a heavy piece for the size,it weighs 5 lbs.It will fit in a medium flat rate box and will let you use my price on that if needed which is $11.30,it`s $12.45 at the post office.I will have to put that price in at the end if needed.Thanks for looking.

You are looking at a rare large French marble clock with a"MARTI& Co. movement. Clock's movement is clean and in working condition. Chimes on a gong coil the hours and half hours. This beautiful clock keeps good time. Has an adjustable French original to the clock pendulum with the same numbers as on the movement, and a original winding key. The marble is in very good condition over all. But a piece of the marble bottom back left corner base about 1 1/4" wide x 2 3/8" high was missing and restored, see picture#12. Any other visible what looks like"cracks" on the marble are very solid. They are benign or just natural veins. Clock's case has 7 ornate bronze decors in very good condition. Nice all marble 4" dial face in a 5" bezel is in good very good condition also. Over all this sold"as is" ... moremaybe 100 years old clock is in very nice condition for its age. You are looking at a rare OLLENDORFF NEW YORK(1868-1930) Watch co. collectable antique french marble and solid brass mantle clock with matching garniture set. Black and white marble clock set with 3 columns on each side of the clock is in very good condition. No cracks, but a small probably natural flack in the back of the lowest part of one middle marble column, see picture#11, also this clock was chipped on the bottom back left corner and was restored, nice job, see picture#12. Clocks Made in France movement is clean and in working condition. Original movements logo was eliminated for the watch company. But this could have been stamped with the"MARTI" round logo. This clock keeps good time. Has an adjustable french pendulum, rings on a brass bell all the hours and half hours, but the 1 o'clock rings twice just like the 2 o'clock? ... moreI noticed this after having this clock listed for over 2 weeks, all the rest rings as expected. There is a brass winding key with this clock. Not original. Enamel dial face with floral swags is also in good condition. No chips or hairlines, but I see some very small chipping around the adjustable hole above the 12 o'clock, probably made with a small adjustable key not available any more. Clock is clean. No tarnish or pitting, just few expected very minor blemishis, stands on turn screw solid brass adjustable feet. The french pendulum is possibly not original to the clock but over all this used old clock is in very nice condition for it's age. Clock is 17" high. 5" deep. This estate auctioned INGRAHAM clock with faux marble decor is in very good working condition. The 13" wide 11" high and 5 1/2" deep clock case is very clean. No noticeable rubs, scratches or nicks, just normal light wear. A very nice case overall. Clock chimes the hours on a coil gong and rings the half hours on the bell. The dial inside a 6" clean bezel is little darker near the 4 but in good condition. Mantel clock comes with a new Ingraham key and original pendulum. Time adjustment can be made with a thumb wheel in the dial. The back panel door is not original. Pic.11, just a new painted black piece of plywood holding in place with 5 small pieces of Velcro. There is a tag but not able to make our print. This clock has a beautiful look with intricate detailing. Such as uniquely etched bra ss legs. Marble swirl design painted on the wood pillars, and etched design around clock face. We have the ori ginal round glass piece(not sure if original) that needs mounted into the clock. The cellulose acetate plastic barrette is pearly white and jet black marble pattern. The barrette is an open heart with metal"arrow" that slides through the center to hold a lock of hair. The metal sliding piece has black marbled end that matches the heart. It does not fully come apart into 2 separate pieces. The sliding"arrow" will not pull completely off end. Barrette is 1-1/4" high and 2-1/4" wide. This is almost more of hair ornament, nicely holds a lock, but will not hold a thick chunk of hair. NOT SIGNED, guaranteed genuine Lea Stein made in France. Lovely Art Deco clock and garnishment set in bi coloured marble surmounted with a figure of a German shepherd Alsatian dog in Spelter with bronze finish. The figure is a a Spelter version after the bronze sculpture by Pierre Tourgueneff. Chien Couche, originally cast by Susse Freres. This is in lovely condition with virtually no damage to the marble other than a few tiny edge chips which are hard to see. The clock case is 14 inches wide x 8 inches high and a depth of 4 inches. The two side garnishments are 5 ½ inches high x 4 inches wide with a depth of 3 inches. The Alsatian dog figure is 6 inches long x 3 ½ inches high. The clock face and hands are in nice condition; some small blemish spots are just showing on the edge of the clock face and a little corrosion creeping ... morethrough the edges but not obviously visible. The text on the face declares the movement to be of 8 day duration and made in France. The bezel has lost some of it's nickel or chrome plating. The works will require some attention; it is currently operational but has a tendency to stop in it's vertical position but seems to tick away happily in a horizontal position which may mean a bearing needs attention. I suspect the works require cleaning. Added: still working after several days and keeping good time.but only in the horizontal position; it stops in the vertical position. Well worth repairing. This is a very heavy item so international shipping will be very expensive but please ask me for a quote. Very attractive piece of classic Art Deco.
