PISTORIUS MN 201 DOUBLE MITER SAW I got this from a larger picture framing business that was going out of business. I was not able to test it at the factory. It is three phase. I brought it home and am not able to test it because I don't have three phase at home. I did hook up the air compressor found the mechanisms that raise and lower the blades work fine. Looking at the first picture the motor on the right is very new looking. But the motor on the left looks original to the tool. I am able to turn both 12" blades by hand. You are looking at a custom designed industrial double head indexing miter saw. This miter saw was designed and manufactured by Citco Canada for CANLYTE Canada. An electrical appliance manufacturing company based in Montreal Canada. The unit was designed and manufactured in 2001 and was put in service in 2002. The cost of design& manufacturing was $32000.00(all documents& proof of purchase are supplied with the unit) The double station miter saw was meant to slot and cut plastic parts. The left hand station was meant to slot the pieces of plastic(two piece at the time) and the right hand station was meant to cut the pieces of plastic at a specific precise angle(two pieces at the time) The saw is a stand alone unit that can be transported with a jigger(approx 2000lbs) It works on 600volts and requires compressed air. The operation ... moreprinciple is very simple. Two pieces that needs to be slotted are inserted in the left station. As the first push button is pressed. The two pieces are locked in place by the use of pneumatic plungers. As the second push button is activated, the station indexes automatically via a pneumatic cylinder and comes back with the slotted pieces. The pieces are then manually transferred to the right station where the are also locked in place and cut at a specific angle. This unit can be modified to suit your need. It can be used as a cutting station on both sides. It can be used to cut wood, plastic, aluminum or any other suitable parts. The unit is built on a 30' x 66' x 1' thick steel plate. Since the machine was used and in order to meet the precise tolerances my doors required. I paid extra to have new bearings installed in both swing arms and to have a repair Tech recalibrate the swing arms to bring the machine tolerances back to the original factory specifications. I’ve now closed my cabinet shop and no longer need this great machine. It has made me a lot of money over the years and right up to the point I shut down the shop I was personally using it daily and I can attest to quality of work it does. This particular saw is the D45 model. Which has 2- 1 ½ HP motors(one on each blade) that runs on 3 phase electric 220/440V. The saw blades ... moreare 12” in diameter and are extremely thick to prevent flexing as the blade enters the material. A foot pedal pneumatically operates the blade up and down cycle while simultaneously activating the material hold down clamps so that your material cannot move. I built an in-feed table and an out-feed table that allow even the longest of material to rest comfortably on the machine. I also bought CTD’s Acc-U-Measure Fence System. Which makes cutting multiples of precise sizes quick and easy. I paid $3800 for the machine when I bought it from Redmond Machinery. The heads are on an adjustable track and can move up to a maximum of 10 ft 6 inches apart, so you can cut both ends of the material to length at one time. The saw heads are pneumatically activated, and so is the clamping system. Maximum blade size is 12" There are 2 12" blades included. This is a very nice production set up. It runs very well. OPERATION The Ruvo 845 SPL Hopper Fed Casing Saw was designed for one relatively unskilled worker. Key to this exceptional production is a smooth operating. Easily loaded in-feed hopper. This hopper avoids stacking of trim on top of one another, eliminating jamming, ruined trim and the lost production of other hopper systems. The operator places up to 3 trim bundles on the horizontal hopper arms. Cuts the string, loads the hopper, starts the machine, and(with the flick of a wrist) continues to slide the pieces into the hopper. The feeding procedure is so easy that any reasonably efficient operator can keep up with the exceptional speed of this saw. Omga V913 P Vertical Double Miter Saw with 10' Omga Stop System
We are selling an Omga V913P Vertical miter saw and a 10' Omga stop system. Currently the two are set up for mitering picture frame molding. The same system can be used for other applications such as miter notching. Also included is an optional 40" RH table extension with scale. This extends the base table by 40" for manual mitering. The pneumatic stops are used when using this extension. The max. molding cut width is 6" and max. height is 3 1/2" We find that 5" width is max. for our setup. Your cut list lengths can be entered into the controller. And the stop system will automatically position the molding. The dual action foot pedal will engage pneumatic hold downs before activating the saw blades. The operating sound level is extremely low. This is a very efficient set-up for volume production. And is also a ... morevery precise heavy duty machine for custom work. The Omga V913P and 10' RH stop system were both manufactured by Omga and purchased by us in 2004. We added this saw to our operation as we began producing high volume ready made picture frames. This side of our business never took off. So after about 5 hrs of testing, the machines have remained unused ever since, with the hope that one day we would try again with high volume ready made picture frames.
