Here's a nice set of machinery for sharpening hand saws. The model 387 file sharpener is in great shape and barely looks used. It comes with 2-3 handfuls of files and several saw jigs. PLUS PLUSS! an extra filing machine(near complete) comes with it so that takes care of any parts problems The retoother looks to be in good shape as well. The motors in both tools run very quiet. A hand saw set and edge file are included. As well. This set sells as a whole. Shipping will have to be freight due to size& shape so this is listed as local pickup. Foley Belsaw No.387 Automatic Saw Filer/Sharpener, Excellent Condition
Up for sale is a Foley-Belsaw model 387 auto saw filer in very good to excellent condition and has many extra parts included. The sharpener has spent all of its life hidden away in a garage and well taken care of. It has very little use on it and will function right out of the box. Included with the sharpener is a handful of guide bars and the original owners manual. Even the original Foley light is included and in great condition The only spots of damage on the sharpener is around the flywheel hand crank where the sheet metal was bent and the paint flaked away. Some of the exposed metal components have some very slight surface rust but it comes off with some WD 40 and steel wool The original friction drive wheel had rotted away from years of heat and not being used so I contacted Foley and ordered a brand new wheel that runs the machine ... morelike new If you have any questions about the machine. I have taken it completely apart and greased and adjusted everything that has adjustments to it and replaced the drive wheel and off/on switch with new ones. It works very well and I used it to punch out the teeth on a 2 foot piece of.025 blued 1095 spring steel that I will make a saw from at 13 ppi. there is a picture) That does not mean that it will never break down. Its still a used retoother and there is no warranty on it. Its being sold as is. Foley Belsaw 352 Automatic Power Setter, Excellent used condition w/ manual
Up for sale is a Foley Belsaw Model 352 Automatic Power Setter in excellent used condition. I have a few other pieces of Foley sharpening equipment and all of them are in fantastic but slightly used condition. The setter has a little bit of dried grease on the worn drive gear and some slight oxidization on some of the exposed metal parts but that has cleaned off with a slight cleaning. There is one spot on top of the case. It can be seen in the pictures, where the green paint is stained but other then that, it's in excellent condition It comes with the original Foley owners manual. It measures 15" x 10" x 9" and is extremely heavy for its small size. I didn't weight it yet but it's at least 70 lbs.

Just picked this up from an estate. it turns nice. I put a piece of a brown bag under it and it punched it nice and clean. It was on a board with a 1/3 hp motor but no belt. I removed the unit from the board and I took the flywheel off for shipping. there are 2 blade carriers and 4 ratchet bars. I wire brushed the ends of the bars to see the size, they cleaned up nice. if you want the board I will throw it in but the shipping will be higher. it is just 2x12 or so. the motor will be in an auction of it's own. this is sold as is so please ask any questions before bidding. if it doesn't sell I will consider separating the accessorys and selling them that way
