4 POLE/ 8 THROW BIG CERAMIC ROTARY SWITCH. This is the largest ceramic rotary switch I believe I've seen. Came from IBM salvage stock and looks to have never been used. Everything about it is larger and more rugged than usual. Wafer diameter is 2" plus 3/4" more to total outside diameter. Wafers are 1/8" thick. Two separate small dia wafers hold the flexible heavy brushes which contact the wafers. Each wafer has 18 heavy contacts(16 plus 2 common) riveted to connectors for soldering. This whole assembly is an elegant piece of work. All parts can be seen to be for heavy duty. No bag or box was with the switch so I'm calling it used tho I don't believe it is.
