Double pole/six position rotary switch(with extra contacts-see description) This rotary switch is a bit larger and heavier material. Contacts are heavier material. Wafer is a bit more than 1-1/2" diameter. Quality switch was removed from IBM equipment. Each of the two wafers has 6 positions stop to stop. One of the wafers has position 1& 2 also connected separately and the other wafer has positions 3& 6 also connected separately. There is a rubber"O" ring and groove at the mounting area. Fine quality switch.
4 Deck/4 poles per deck-2 throw w/CENTER OFF Please read description carefully
This switch is a bit different than usual. There are 4 wafers/decks and each wafer has 4 poles. Stops are set to allow the switch to go to either of two positions. These positions(4 wafer/4 poles per wafer-16 separate circuits) each pass through a center position when switched. Each position has been wired together by IBM so continuity is always there for both positions until the switch is thrown past center at which time there is momentary continuity at the center position. Simple explanation: 16 pole/double throw-center off/momentary. Note: Center position may be held for as long as wanted before going on to the stop. Wire is easily altered for other connection. Questions quickly answered.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY This switch is a bit different than usual. There are 4 wafers/decks and each wafer has 4 poles. Stops are set to allow the switch to go to either of two positions. These positions(4 wafer/4 poles per wafer-16 separate circuits) each pass through a center position when switched. Each position has been wired together by IBM so continuity is always there for both positions until the switch is thrown past center at which time there is momentary continuity at the center position. Simple explanation: 16 pole/double throw-center off/momentary. Note: Center position may be held for as long as wanted before going on to the stop. Wire is easily altered for other connection.
