B&W Bowers& Wilkins P4 Folded horn/Transmission line Speakers in Cherry BOXED Here we have a pair of very rare B&W P4 Transmission line/folded horn loudspeakers from the mid 90's… Finished in beautiful real Cherry veneer. These were highly reviewed by Gramophone magazine and retailed for £600 new. They have only been used for a maximum of 20 hours according to the previous owner. Who never even un-bagged the grills! Offered in Pristine condition and fully working… they havn't even been properly run in yet! There are a couple of tiny imperfections on the edges of the veneers. The owner seems to think they were always like that are are probably factory imperfections, they are visible in the close up pics, but almost invisible in normal use. I have fitted the spikes for the first time today. Just so they sit right for ... morethe pics. The boxes with be extra wrapped for transport. To protect the original cartons. I have listened to them for a bit one afternoon and I have to say they sound wonderful. Super sounding small B&W monitors from the 1990's. Two way system Woofers are 5 inch units with rubber surrounds. All drivers work well and the speakers sound terrific.From what I learned online about them. They are rated for power of 25-100 watts each. Cabinets are black vinyl finish and the are a couple of light scratches but no major damage. Grills in great shape as well. There were some stick on pads on the bottoms which I removed and there is a slight bit of glue residue.Only on one speaker though. Terminals at the back take banana plugs. Spade connectors or bare wire. Two sets of terminals as you can see. Size: approximately 12.75"H x 7"W x 8"D.This sale is for USA and Canada.Local pickup is fine. Here is a nice pair of british speakers for sale AS IS both speakers are fully functional. Check out the photos to see what they look like. One speaker has a minor superficial split at the bottom that is pictured. It does not affect functionality however. One tweeter has a very small crease but again it does not affect the way they sound. See close up photo of tweeter. My 3 year old is one to blame for that imperfection. These are available for LOCAL PICK UP only. The speakers are the biggest ones in the DM 500 series. Cabinets are in good shape(except for the 1 split) with superficial scratches. The grills are in good shape with no visible holes. One grill is missing the badge. They sound great and i can play them for you when you come to pick them up.
