Vintage Viking Sewing Machine Tested Strong Sewer
Fully Functional Free Arm Viking Sewing Machine. Cleaned, lubricated and tested. I used it briefly to repair a 6oz dacron sail and also made straps sewed to a convas cover. Tested on 10 oz Sunbrella(canvas) using V69 thread. 12 needle on 2 ply and V92 thread. 14 needle on 4 ply and sometimes 8 ply on corners(see photos) The machine is only 20 lbs and easy to carry around and uses Std 15x1 needles. This is a class 15 rotary shuttle mechanical automatic zigzag sewer. The upper selector is stich width(zigzag) and lower selector in stich length. The upper selector also specifies type of stich(see test patterns on photos) The high shank foot is plastic and could use replacing. I have included a couple of bobbins with the bobbin case that are different than other class 15 machines. The bobbins could have a slot to get a more direct drive in the ... morebobbin winder.
