This is a copper pipe cutter and fitting cleaning machine that will cut your time to cut copper pipe and clean your copper fittings by 90 percent. If you look at YOUTUBE under Prepstar you can see how it works. The only thing the video doesn't show is when you cut the pipe it sands it at the same time to prep it for soldering. One thing I had done to it was adding an on/off switch to the side with the fitting brushes so if you just need to clean fittings you flip it on to clean a bunch of fittings then flip it off. Has a scrolled copper and brass design. There is a holding bracket on the bottom of the oak wooden panell and there are two reverse-facing flowers which each hold a hook. It is a curious item and I will leave to you to determine if this is simply a gong without the parts or indeed this could be a type of light fitting or bracket as during the period this was made, the electrical wires were'free' flowing around some light fittings. Antique French SABATIER Butcher Knife. Wood Handle, Copper Fitting, Early ANTIQUE BUTCHER KNIFE Interesting and unusual antique butcher knife measuring 15" long- actual blade is 10-5/8" long. Featuring the Sabatier shape. Blade is steel and handle is graduated wood with a thick copper band around the end to protect the wood from splitting and usage chipping- blade is fitted into the wood with a sturdy steel band. Although unmarked, there is a tiny stamp on the band- looks like five incised dots- three are clear and two are a bit fainter. I'm guessing this a French butcher knife dating mid-1800s. Condition is very good with wonderful age related darkening to the blade- some very. Very fine nipping to the edge up by the handle end- blade has been sharpened and knife has definitely been used- blade still retains old oiling- handle ... morehas two tight lines within the wood, and copper wrapping is rather crude with a bit of a lift on the very end- I absolutely cannot budge it- the tiny lifted area is filled underneath with a hint of verdigris and age-related usage dirt. Visually, this knife is beautiful- long, balanced and reeking of history. I purchased it with an antique butcher trade sign in the 1960s from a dealer who imported his items from Europe- based on what I remember, he told me this was a knife dating mid-1800s from France- I've had it on display in my kitchen with a variety of antique copper pans. I've never seen one of these before. It's a copper soldering iron tip that includes a threaded end that looks like it screws into a small light bulb socket. The item looks like it was never used because there is no"tinning" on the tip. The overall length is about 2-3/4" The copper tip is about 1-1/4" long by 3/8" diameter. The insulator appears to be a ceramic of some type and the threaded end is brass with a center electrode just like a small flashlight bulb. Someone out there has the heating tool that goes with this so here is the tip you've been looking for. I want to sell this. So my auction starts at $0.99 with no reserve.
