Here is an old Globe Sprinkler System porcelain sign. These hung on large sprinkler system valves in old buildings in the city to inform you of what the valve controlled in case of emergency or if the need would arise to shut down parts of the system. When this one was made someone J 503 and 3/12 on the back which shows through the porcelain. I am going to assume that the 3/12 is March of 1912. This one is in good condition. Just a bit of chipping on the corners and near some of the other mounting holes. It measures 9 inches tall, and 13 inches long. Check the photos carefully for close ups and details. The photos are part of the description. It weighs 3 1/2 pounds and will ship via USPS Priority mail. I will be happy to combine purchases, when applicable, to save postage costs. Up for bid is a vintage O H mfg. globe valve. 1/2 inch NPT. Threads are in very good condition. Valve works well and seems to hold pressure. Doesn't appear to leak. Showing a few light wrench marks as can be seen in the photo's. Logo on one side has a wear or hammer mark. Valve doesn't have any lose parts and operates well. Good condition considering its age.

Old Brass Jenkins 2" Globe Valve Water Pump Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Tractor
This is an original vintage brass globe valve. It is marked Jenkins on the body. It is a 2 inch valve with a 150lb working pressure. It is about 6 inches long overall and about 10 1/2 inches tall. It has 2 inch pipe threads and they are in perfect condition. It is in excellent used condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind and the valve seems to work as it should. It has a few very light wrench marks from past service. I believe it is ready to be used on a vintage water pump or gas engine cooling setup. These originals don't turn up very often and they surely look better than anything modern. New valves like this list for about $300 so don't miss out on this one. The pictures tell the story.
