I am not trained on this machine but did have one used on me when I hurt my neck some years back. I turned it on and the 10 and 5 hz transducers when selected could be heard working if you put your ear up to the flat metal end of each transducer. I then used some ultrasound gel and the transducers were working on my body. At some levels they warmed up the skin surface.
