It is in working order, with considerable wear from use but no broken parts that affect operation. The padding had some dust and tiny debris in it but I vacuumed it out as well as I could, and it looks pretty good. The plastic has some scuffs and scratches, and a few cracks in the plastic cover at the end of one of the track rails(see photo 4; does not affect operation) The hand controller is very simple- one button. It is believed to be in full working condition, however, will be sold as is. The REMOTE CONTROL is NOT INCLUDED and therefore I am unable to personally test the machine out. I can hear it power on though. The removable AC power cord is included as shown. Cosmetically, the unit is in overall good condition with minor marks from normal use, but I did notice that one of the hand screws(with a black knob) has been replaced with a regular bolt, and there is some electrical tape around the crinkled cord. I removed this tape and the insulation is missing off a small area, but the wires themselves are fine. This is one of several units I have available. You are bidding on an OptiFlex CPM machine. Complete with Optiflex-T trolley. This particular machine was being used by a local clinic until recently. It is believed to be in full working condition, however, will be sold as is since my knowledge in testing this type of equipment is limited. CPM does come with the REMOTE CONTROL so I was able to power it on and run through several cycles whereby the machine did move up and down as expected. I am not sure, but believe the previous owner might have added an actual AC power supply to the cord as I have really only ever seen these before with a cord, but mine has an actual power supply. I rented DME for many years but about 2 years ago I wanted to and needed to get off the road. I went back into clinical work so I no longer have any need for the CPM machines. They are all used but fully operational. Due to the Florida heat and humidity. Some of the plastic covers have yellowed but this is only cosmetic and does not affect the operation of the machine. Most of the covers can be replaced and purchased on the secondary market. Some have some minor pitting in the metal components but again, only cosmetic. I will do my best to describe each CPM as accurately as possible. Please read the details listed below. This Kinetec 4071 Knee CPM is ... moreone of those CPM machines that comes in really handy. You see. It can be used for an adult but also for a child or young/small adult. I have shown the CPM in both the standard adult setup and the pediatric/small adult setup. For the pediatric/small adult setup, the standard foot plate is removed and the pediatric foot plate assembly is inserted in the slots on the top of the lower leg bars. It’s important that the patient be properly aligned in the CPM so the patient’s foot must reach the foot plate. Also. This CPM has a transport feature where the upper leg bars slide into the base. Simply pull up on the black release knob on top of the base unit and unlock the transport mode. Slide in for transport and pull back out for use. I have shown a picture of the locking knob and pictures of the CPM in transport mode. The plastic cover has yellowed on this CPM but it yellowed so evenly that is doesn’t look half bad at all. There is also some minor pitting in the metal but all cosmetic and the CPM works just fine. Please note that because I work at 2 hospitals shipping may take 48 hours from time of sale.
