Up for auction is a pair of marked Fleming engraved sterling silver overlaid buckles. Keepers and tips. The tips are stiill attached to a dark oil 3/4" wide show halter crown strap. The buckles are designed to fit up to 3/4" wide leather. They measure about 1-3/4" tall and 1-1/2" wide. The buckles and tips are stamped GM13 Fleming Sterling Overlaid Mexico. The keepers are stamped Sterling Overlaid Mexico. The crown piece is approximately 19-1/2" long. It is made from good quality double stitched dark oil leather. The silver and crown strap are in very good used condition. The lady that I got them from said she used the halter one time in the 1980's and it had been stored in her house since that time. The buckles would look great on another halter. Spur straps, chaps or a bridle.
