It's 1" wide and has a groove for combination squares. The graduations are 64ths. 32nds, 16ths, and 8ths. I took alot of pictures so you could see it's condition so please look at them closely. I have for auction these two vintage Starrett squares. The first Is a 4' No. 13 machinist square. It is in good used condition. there is some minor stains on the metal. But nothing major. There are some minor scuffs and scratches on the rule. everything is legible. the head is in good ++ shape and seats tight on the rule. The second square is a combination square The rule is No.16 RGrad it is in 32nds, 64ths, 50ths, and 100ths. It is a 6' rule. The Rule has some stains but nothing major. The combination head is in good++ shape. There is no provision for a scribe or level bubble on this head. The Combination head seats tight on the rule. Vintage Bevel Protractor & group of Combination Squares- Saywer & Starrett Co.
This group of machinist or woodworking tools is as follows: A green bevel protractor that is 7" long. The 2 knobs on the back turn freely. And the level is working. It would seem like the center part should turn, but it doesn't, but I do not know how to use this item. I do not see a name on it. There is some paint loss. The various squares all have knobs that move freely. And the small one with ruler also moves freely. The ruler is marked Sawyer tool mfg. co. and it is the remains of a longer ruler because the section in the square is marked 2 3/4" to 6" The 9" ruler in the group is marked L.S. Starrett Tempered No. 7. The front side is in good condition but the backside has a rough pitted surface. Please look at the photos of these vintage measuring tools. I ship to U.S. address' only. Vintage Machinist Combination Squares- Lot of 8 Pieces as Shown Unmarked brands as far as I can see. These are all used and in Good Condition. These were stored away in an old machinist toolbox. Some discoloration from storage. All look like they work ok. There are 5 Square Heads. All shown have bubble levels in them. One I added is not shown and has no bubble level in it) There are 3 Center Heads which do not come with bubble levels. I do not have and of the scales/rulers for them. This is a L.S. Starrett No. B18-4R 18” rule-blade for combination squares– 1” wide. With 4R graduations. It has very-very minor spotting from being in inventory for some time. 2 Machinist Squares 6" LUFKIN Combination and 5-1/2" B & S Bevel Edge
2 Machinist Squares 6" LUFKIN combination and 5-1/2" Brown and Sharpe Try square. The Brown and Sharpe has a light grind touch to the side of the blade and owners marks on the side of the base- Both squres are in good serviceable condtion. Original undoctored condition user condition I attempt to describe items as accurately as possible. And encourage you to ask specific questions regarding items. Remeber, these are used items and even an item in excellent condition can have small flaws and signs of use. I will always attempt to ship via the most reasonable means possible and will combine shipping on multiple purchases. I'll gladly entertain alternative shipping methods other than those listed in the description.
