NICE TOOLMAKER MADE 2 1/2 INCH SINE BAR: This item is a nice Toolmaker made hardened and ground 2& 1/2 inch Sine Bar. It is 1/2 inch thick X 1 inch wide X 4 5/8 inches long. It is an unusual design for me. I had not seen a 2 1/2 inch sine bar with an extended work supporting length like this. I guess it would come in handy if you are using a narrow grinding vise and your work piece is longer and would be supported better. Sine Block Taper Testing Fixture / Sine Plate / Sine Bar
This is a Taft- Peirce Sine Block Taper Testing Fixture. Bought it at an auction and have no use for it. It is in good condition with minimum light surface rust in some areas. I used scotch bright and WD40 and the areas clean up as new.Looked it up on the internet and I see they are pretty expensive in a new condition, not sure if the use them as much nowadays with all the computerized measuring equipment. Machinist sine bar, Starrett #15 universal bevel 3" and assorted tooling
Cleaning out the rest of my box. I have a 5" sine bar and a 3" square that I cut out on a wire EDM. The Starrett bevel I got from an old timer. It has someone's name that's been scratched out as shown in pic. The 5 angle blocks are for 7. 10, 15, 20 and 30 degrees. The 10 and 15 degree blocks are not ground on the angled surface. The end mills are as follows: 3/16" double end 4 flute- 3/8 shank, 5/16" 4 flute- 3/8 shank, 1/8" corner rounding R.H. cut- 1/2 shank, 5/8" 2 flute ball nose- 1/2 shank, 5/8" 2 flute- 5/8 shank. Drills are: 5mm(3pcs) 7mm, 8.5mm. The end mills are in good shape. The drills look to be unused. The set-up blocks(4) were ground as a set but are of no particular size along with 2 individual parallels. US shipping only.
