I bought this as part of a larger lot at a government surplus auction. I don't have much information about this microtome knife. The blade is super sharp and does not have any chips in it. For sale is a vintage United States NAVY oval roasting serving pan. It is stainless steel with a rolled edge. U.S.N. is stamped on the bottom(see photographs 9 and 10) It is also stamped in small letters"A. P. Co. see photographs 11 and 12) The A. P. Co. produced metal-ware for the US military during the WWII era. This is a great vintage piece that would be perfect for serving the troops during the holidays! This oval pan is approximately 15-7/8 by 12-1/2 inches across the top and 1-3/8 inches tall. The brim is approximately 1-1/4 inches wide with tapered sides down to the flat bottom. This vintage piece is in very good used condition. There are scratches and wear marks from use. There is one light oxidation stain of unknown origin(perhaps lemon juice or cleaning fluid? This can be seen in photograph 6. It is straight with no dings or ... moredents. Please see photographs. There is no post-factory damage. Such as dings, dents, bends, rust, or repairs.
