Ultra Rare Hardy All Brass Perfect 2 5/8" Houghton Dry Fly Reel c1890's
Up for action is an Ultra Rare Hardy All Brass Perfect measuring 2 5/8" in diameter. This size is actually referred to as the"Houghton" Dry Fly reel made for the elite Houghton Fishing Club who's members included Royals and Aristocrats sporting trout on the famed Thames River. England during the early 1890's. The reel is in near excellent but uncleaned condition as pictured, with no cracks anywhere. The reel's action is silky smooth with a strong click and adjustable drag with a creamy butter handle. Please take note that the center screw has broken off(as pictured) but can be easily repaired. The reel case is NOT included in the bidding.

SUPERB VINTAGE 2 5/8 INCH BRASS FLY TROUT SALMON REEL EARLY 1900's
I purchased this antique brass fly reel recently and it was mounted to an early 1900's Split Bamboo fly rod. The reel is made of brass and I could not find any markings at all on it. It is in good condition and it is working well. The reel measures 2 5/8" across and is right at 1" wide. I am not exactly sure what the handle is made of but it looks like bone almost to me. Check out my! Vintage 1700's Cello End P in with adjustable shaft. Brass ferrule is hand lathe/foot lathe turned, can see tooling marks.Cello! Nice old endpin for your old cello project. The brass ferrule(tapered ID) for the steel thumb screw(may be cast) shows tooling marks from being made by hand on a foot lathe or hand lathe. NOTE: There is some wood missing at the thumbscrew hole. Very typical on most end-pins for splits or chips from years of adjusting. Wood appears to be cherry? Total height is 8-1/2" long extended from bottom of cello. May be used for 5/8 to 3/4 sized instruments or small church basses. They are a single layer. Openwork dome with a dimensional floral motif. Each features 8 facet cut steel gems, creating sparkling beauty despite some tarnish. There is a total of 18 buttons. The glass top is 41-1/2 inches wide, 23 inches deep and is 5/8 of an inch thick. This makes for a very heavy piece that would be impractical to ship. The table has a brass base with fluted legs and is 17 inches tall. The glass has one small inconspicuous chip on the edge that would be difficult to see if not pointed out. You are bidding on 3 brass finials and 5 extensions. The tallest finial shown on the right has a 3/8" thread- the other finials and extensions are all 1/4-27 I think. The tallest finial is 2-3/4" The next is 2-1/2" and the one short cap finial shown on the far left is about 3/4" tall. The extensions including the threaded parts are 2" 1-1/2" and 1" tall. Up for bid here is a small brass metal or tin pail or bucket. I wish that I knew more about metals! What this looks like to me is a tin bucket with a brass coating on it. It is in decent condition. I don't see any dents in it. It does look a little rusty inside and there's a bit of corrosion or something on the very bottom. It's not too bad though. As for size. This small brass bucket stands 4-1/8 inches tall and the diameter up on top is 5-1/8 inches. This pail has a floral pattern on it. Happy Bidding!

Brass boat motor propeller marked Michigan SMC 851 that has a 5/8" shaft. In regards to shipping. The item measures around 8.25" in diameter, the back side measures 2.75" in diameter for the outside measurement, the item shows moderate wear with tiny dings scattered around the entire surface and a few dings on the edges, has what appears to be some very light grinding from years ago on a few areas to make them look just a little better, but must not have been much at all as some areas look like ... morethey do not have that, so blades still match up well. The inner part of the shaft opening has small slots for 2 keys to help keep item in place, there are no other parts included, brass has not been polished so does have some stains, but nothing that affects the structure at all. Starting from smallest to largest and top to bottom as seen in picture#1, I will list their sizes. The top 2 are the same size which is.0029" The 3rd down is.0117" Fourth down is.0234" and the bottom sieve is.0469" There is a bottom tray that comes with this set. You are viewing an Antique.Black,Cast Iron, Cauldron with a Brass Lid and a 12" Long, Fire Starter Pumice Stone Wand. The cauldron known as a fire starter or smudge pot was used to store kerosene in or to start fires with by soaking the pumice stone wand in lighter fuel. It's a unique piece that is seldom seen and can still be used today. The cauldron stands 8" tall and has an iron handle that extends another 2 1/2" tall. It measures 8" wide and is made of cast iron. The lid of the cauldron and the top trim of the wand are made of brass. There is some over all vintage ware but nothing that distracts from it original form or beauty.
